i love the twist of plots, in season one i loved how i didn't find out what the hell was going on until pretty much the last show...thats what i loved about dtb

I loved the show. aha. and about the story. its true there were some fillers, but as you said, it was cleaver and Majority of the First season is about the people Hei Interacts with, which I feel is pretty important, although it doesn't always have to do with Hei. :The concept was amazing. its too bad there's only about 42 episodes including Gaiden.

I don't get why they're complaining about the lack of information given, the show tells you basically all that people know about the gates and whatnot. I thought it was better off leaving them as some sort of mysterious phenomenon then fully explaining everything in what would have been a lengthy and out of place bit of exposition.

Just finished the first season of Darker Than Black, and it's probably the best type of anime for me. It's catchy, has interesting characters, and a pretty good english dub.

April's rain pierced through the guy because he was going at ultra speed and he ran into to the raindrops and dies, that's how fast he was. To say it in another way, objects, like raindrops, impact you more when you run faster into them. To those who still doesn't understand, compare walking in the rain and riding a motorcycle in the rain, which of the options hurts more. Hopes this help you.

If you couldn't follow the plot, then I think that you probably don't read too many actual books. The heaven's gate isn't good or evil, and it isn't an event- it's just a place, like hell's gate. Did you even watch this show?

I really like this anime- it had very strong characters, lovely music, writing, and animation. But then I don't really like Naruto and Bleach type animes.

Okay, there is this one character in the show.... I am for damn certain that she is C2 from Geass!!! She looks a lot like C2, so maybe it is her. The bio on C2 and Overview of DTB doesn't say, but I believe it is C2.

You think you guys could actually pay attention to the stuff you claim to watch? The reason Aprils water went through the guy in the first episode of Season 2 is because the guy she killed was going at super speed. Anything going that fast or running into something that fast is going to do some damage, even rain.

Also, if you're reviewing the first season, only talk about the first season. Its the only season that's out in America right now, so no one's gonna get the S2 references.

@NightHunter322 Maybe because they're reviewing it when it comes out IN ENGLISH. And news flash: ALMOST NONE OF THE CHARACTERS ARE JAPANESE. So of course Shinigami would translate into God of Death or Grim Reaper, BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT FUCKING TRANSLATES INTO.

Cool. I only just watched Summer Wars a couple days ago and it was a surprisingly good movie. It's one of those great family movies that anyone can enjoy, because it's not pinned down by any one genre.
