I was offended when I sat the Timothy Hutton ad, but I'm starting to get it with this one. While they may be somewhat exploiting the sympathy people have for a certain cause, they are showing that people can have money to spend on other things if they use Groupon, and they're also dedicating ad time to a particular cause. This obviously doesn't come off clearly, but it does make you wanna give to save the rainforest instead of buying something, right?
