I am the father of the little girl on the bus and I'd like to state:

1. My daughter was never terrified. She didn't know what was going on. You hear "Anne is getting scared" - Anne is an adult. All of us on were shocked when the driver moved to cut us off. The YR had been traveling beside the McCain bus for many miles without incident.

The Yellow Rose driving and passing attempt looked fine to me. No unreasonable safety issues that I could see from this video. He was attempting to pass on a divided highway, not a two way highway with opposing traffic. McCain's trail bus was guilty all the way. Incredible. Probably Secret Service at work there. McCain's bus nearly caused an accident. I would call this good work on the part of Yellow Rose for being on the ball and capturing this on video!!!

Democrats have a tiny majority in the House and a tiny quasi-majority in the Senate (since the 2 independents caucus with the Democrats.) The executive branch is Republican. They've been in power less than 2 years. I agree they should have done more with their time (like everything you mentioned and more) but it's not like they have unlimited power; they only have a slight numerical advantage in Congress. I still have hope for things getting done... the first step is MORE DEMOCRATS in November!
