Correct. We're going to have to wait for the Can/Am group to release them. They collected and have the full results. Vic is working on it as I write this response. Give it a couple days, I understand the results will be posted on radardetectorforum (dot) org and rd (dot) net.
@veilguy. I know that gun really struggles on dark vehicles even without countermeasures. Id love to see the difference it makes on the other guns. For me it took readings from 1700 feet, with no countermeasures to 1100-1200 FT and with a blinder m27 PT went from 300- 400 FT to JTG. Veil does work well. I am now a believer. My only wish would be if Veil could be applied in colder weather better/ cure time. I'm looking forward to the results. Thanks
I am looking forward to the results too. There were definitely some surprises (with multiple countermeasure and gun combinations). Don't believe those who would have you believe active LJs don't have their weaknesses. They do and I believe Veil fixes most of them.
PS: Look out for a series of a new generation of laser guns which are not currently jammable. Veil will work in any event, though, as it is a passive measure. Stay tuned! VG
@SpeedTrapHunter... sorry for my ignorance, does the veil also work on radar guns? I have been having a problem with the NM state troopers, they have caught me with laser and radar, even though I have a V1 and I'm alert scanning the road, they are sneaky. At the moment I do not have a laser jammer, but I'm planning to purchase one in the near future. Can you recommend a system that would work great in a full size sedan. I have a BMW 740iL, but will soon replace with a 2006 ALPINA B7.
No need to apologize. 'Fraid not. Many years we attempted to engineer an inexpensive RAM for vehicles...which proved impractical. Veil for LIDAR and UV light only.
That low buzz sounds like it was the 100pps version of the UL am I correct? How did it do with the other guns?

@SpeedTrapHunter
I agree. The synergistic effects of veil coupled with a good detector and or active jammer is hard to beat.
