As leaders go, Kamuzu was a good leader, but he was an Imperialist stooge during the cold war. He dealt with his opponents ruthlessly and was manipulated by his hostess and her uncle. I hope indigenous Malawians will prosper and not be fooled by Materialist trickery ,and cultural Imperialism.

kamuzu was a good leader.
but at times he could be discriminating.
he could not speak the national language
(chichewa)he always made the migratted malawians life difficult,he removed the asians
from urban areas,no travellng sales,no transport & farming.finally only one trading
licence per family.this forced the asians to
migrate again to.england,australia & u.s.a
very sad to hear this sought of story.
from generations born in malawi.
