i just dont get it, this happens all the time in games, two people develop a relationship and nothing ever happens, the chemistry between Pheonix and Maya is definetly there, we've seen it, its nothing major just a freindly relationship that we all expect is gonna be more than that but in the end nothing happens. Im not trying to be preachy im just wondering if something could have happened, like when maya left on the train, it would have been better if she at least gave him a peck on the cheek

Although Phoenix and Maya share what appears to be a strictly friendship/family based relationship, I think there's room for argument either way. Phoenix has done some pretty insane things in the interests of protecting Maya, and he always reacts to her being in danger far more than even Pearls. Check the last case of JFA where he almost blacks out when Maya is kidnapped, or in T&T, where he tries to run across a burning bridge despite being terrified of heights.
