when i make charms, the eyepins tend to come out sometimes and its a real bother because or having to glue them back in, i was wonding if you have any tips on how to avoid this? would glazing them help to keep the eye pins in ? and does this happen to you sometimes too ? ^-^

@michellehua10 The clay she uses need to be oven-baked. Fortunately, there is also air dry clay. You just sculpt, let it sit for a whole day and voila! All done!

Try searching 'air dry clay'. The one I use is a Japanese brand called Hearty.

@Marriland218 plastic tools should work fine. did u use storebought cold porcelain or homemade? if ur using homemade, its probably too sticky

2 questions,

Instead of TLS or Bake and Bond, could we just bake the pieces un-attached and then use regular liquid glue (ex. elmers) to attach the pieces one their baked?

And 2, instead of paint can we use regular sharpie/permanent markers?

I made cellphone charms out of polymer clay, and after 2 or 3 days, it broke. is that happen to your charm too?

@mamatmun oh. thats because u didnt attach the ears firmly enuf. try tls or bake and bond. it should help. super glue works too. and the eyepin, again, use tls or super glue :) glazing it helps too.
