LOL well done, I've done this myself. I learned about it years ago from someone else. They do fall asleep in a similar position so it's not inhumane. It's actually in animal restraint guides for veterinary use! I was so amused when I saw it was actually in a text book! Some breeds of chickens will stay like that for hours, but if you plan to leave them like that, leave them in a safe place... happy chickening! :D

thats not hypnotising. that is a technique called dizzying you can also do it to pidgeons. game keepers use this technique to train gundogs to hunt game.
