i've played all of the pokemon games to date.

I have to say, there was just something about RSE that gave it a majestic feeling.

Wide varied environments for one.

You could go from a simple town, to a town under a volcano covered in ash, a town built upon hot springs, a town built INTO huge trees, a town floating on the sea.

Surf wasn't just a gimmick/obstacle, you could find nice things by surfing (areas and whatnot)

the battle frontier in emerald... the one is DPt is awful. and so on..

The new ones just don't 'feel' like I think they should. I'd rather play gen 1 and 2 than 4 and 5... RBY and GSC that's pokemon as I will remember it^^

Gen 3 is nice but less nostalgic to me;)

@Cinemaphobic Same here. First gane was Sapphire and I got it with my GB SD for christmas. Sadly I lost my GB in the snow years later. Still have the game though. Sceptile was the best and the puzzles for the Regi trio were fantastic. Music was exellent too. :D

Dive in B/W is so horrible compared to in RSE. I hope they do a remake of RSE. This was my ringtone for a long time when I was a kid, I recorded it to my phone by holding the microphone up to the game's speakers.
