Oh god, I thought it was a thong too but yea, freeze it frame by frame and you can see its the bottom of the t-shirt shaped like a V, it has like a curve right in the bottom and it doesn't go all the way into the pans.

I am also a fan of All My Children and still have Wednesday's episode for Dec. 3rd. I watched it frame by frame and it is not a thong. You can clearly see it was his tshirt that got stuck. You can only see it by watching it frame by frame. If you watch it full speed it looks like a thong.
