  • Is the castor oil used in the mix same as the one used for laxatives? or is there a spec. one?

  • Yeah, and your eye become blue like hers >.<

  • It seems like a lot of work but i'll try it out xx

  • where can you find some aloe vera gel in the u.s.? preferably in stores to be more convenient?

  • @1ThinkPink7 Its in any store. Most people use it to help treat burns. Wal-mart or any super market will have it! Common sense.

  • Hi. I watch a lot of your videos. You have a lot of great advice. But I don't know how old you are... This isn't meant to be mean, but you spell a lot of words wrong. It sounds like you're in England, but I'm pretty sure words aren't spelt too different over there....

  • but petroleum jelly is bad for you! :X

  • Loving this :) Thank you x

  • can you use just natural oil?

  • i liked how nicely, selflessly and clearly sh explained everything!!

  • Nice disclaimer Klaire :) I really wanna try this stuff now...I've always had fairly long/dark lashes but hey, a little more help wouldn't hurt right?! :D

  • Can I leave the aloe Vera gel out?

  • Realy great video !

  • Hey great tip! Thank you!

  • where do you get the Almond oil at.

  • If you dont have eyelashes, you can grow some. I use Fysiko eyelash serum. It is expensive, $139.00 but lasts 6-8 months and grows lashes, makes thicker and longer lashes fast

  • Lol to 'loger' lashes!!! Typos these days...

  • what if you dont have any eyelashes?

  • @ tashigirl6 You can get it at Amazon.com You can get all of these at Amazon.com

  • what I always do is putting a clean mascara brush into some vaseline (:

  • How does this work? Please respond back

  • can i replace the almond oil and castor oil with olive oil and grape seed oil? or they are not so effective?

  • Ahaha, the disclaimer!

  • where can you get pure almond oil?

  • @tashigirl6 Walmart, Publix, Pick-n-save.

  • HAHAHA loving ur disclaimer

  • or u can buy clean mascara tubes really cheap at the store, dont waste your mascara! unless you were gna throw it out anyway :)

  • Do you have to use it consisted or can u stop when you are satisfied with the results!!??

  • can I use Aquaphor instead of Vaseline???

  • @bluishlg I found that it worked better than vaseline so Go For It! :)

  • No need for syringe. Just put it in the plastic bag, and cut a hole on one end.

  • I LOVE the way you pronounce mascara!

  • Does it matter if the Aloe Vera gel is not pure?would it make any difference or damage my lashes or something like that?

  • Is there a substitute for the almond oil?

  • @Spritesinthehouse in the description box it says olive oil is a sub for almond oil :)

  • @Spritesinthehouse olive oil :)

  • can i use this to hair?

  • cant find castor oil anywhere....where did u buy urs????

can i use aloe extract instead of aloe gell????

  • cant find castor oil anywhere....where did u buy urs????

  • Comment removed

  • Can't get the cap off ARG!!!

  • @hlnl56 yeah that's what I do n it works great :]

  • Could I use Almond Extract instead of almond oil. Please respond!

  • @Izzymizzy121 No, they are two different things =]

  • We have an aloe vera plant, can I use the extract from it instead of the Aloe Vera gel?

  • Vaseline is Petroleum Jelly right?

  • @shallyanna yes!

  • @shallyanna yep.:)

  • @shallyanna Yeah. Vaseline is a brand that is extremely popular for petroleum jelly, as well as other lotions. Most of the world just calls petroleum jelly Vaseline because they are so used to it.

  • @shallyanna yep

  • @shallyanna lool yes

  • @shallyanna Jup :)

  • @shallyanna yea lol

  • @shallyanna Yes:)

  • @shallyanna yes, Vaseline is 100% pure petroleum jelly

  • @shallyanna yup

  • @shallyanna yup, you got it =)

  • @shallyanna

    yesh, yesh it is :P

  • I'm definatly gunna try !

  • It was sooo hard cleaning out that freakin mascara tube. And I couldn't do the tissue thing, but I found that a q-tip taped to a rattail comb worked great.

  • I really wanna try this!

  • what an amazing natural way to grow your lashes. i will definitely try this out. thank you for the video, very helpful ^^

  • UHHH what if i dont have castor or almond oil? can i just use aloe and vasline?

  • @babeex33love - I did the same thing today! I did it all by myself with just those two because i didn't have either. It works great! The oils aren't a big deal. Aloe and the Vaseline are most important! :)

  • @babeex33love The castor and almond oils are what help lashes grow. The vaseline is for moisture and aloe is for healing/regeneration.

  • It was so hard to put the liquid inside the mascara tube... it was kind of goopy and it didn't want to go in :( I NEED to get a syringe... omg Klaire you make it seem so easy!! :D

  • I use Fysiko lashes instead. natural stuff, Its expensive, but lasts almost a year and grows new lashes, just like latisse, but latiisse costs 100 and lasts 3 months and need to go to doctor and then risk your iris turn brown...

  • I tried this. It didn't really make any difference. I did it for 3 months and I left out the almond oil because I couldn't find any. I think it made my lashes healthier and may have stopped them from falling out as much, but I did not notice them getting any longer.

  • Does this mean u can put mascara on right after?

  • i just noticed you put this up on my birthday.. :P

  • This video was so calming to watch and so helpful. It wasn't rushed or anything. I know this might sound weird, but I applied Vaseline on my eyelashes a few times (maybe three or four) and I noticed my lashes got longer. I was pleasantly surprised.

  • you can buy small empty bottles from the health food store

  • thankx! :) i didn't have almond oil, pure aloe vera, or castor oil, so i just used twice the amount of vaseline and twice the amount of olive oil. it was a NIGHTMARE to clean out the mascara tube, but that's alright. when i run out, i'll get some almond and castor oil from my friend. thanks again! :)

  • @mad1238 was it ok for u only to use vaseline and olive oil? i was thinking to use olive bcoz it's hard for me to find aloe gel, almond and castor oil. and it would costs a lot in my place :(

  • nice!

  • You are a GENIUS! :)

  • " I wouldn't recommend using this on your eyebrows or the problem wont be them growing......it will be STOPPING them growing! "

good then, coz my eyebrows are really thick =...=

  • Can I get Aloe Vera l? from supermarketsor pharmacies :S?

  • Has anyone actually tried this and did it work

  • @LHO4121 It's nothing special. It's won't make your lashes grow super long. I consider this more of a conditioner, not a growth serum. It will bring your lashes to their natural best, but if you have short lashes naturally, you'll just end up with really healthy short lashes. Understand? My explanation isn't the best.

  • thank you so much!!!!! ive been searching for a video like this for a long time!!!!! xoxo

  • I've been wondering, can I use almond extract instead of the oil? is made up of water, alcohol (32%), and oil of bitter almond, so I'm wondering if it's safe

  • @anie6142 Heck no! Don't use that - it is totally different form the Almond Oil

  • @ubbooh Thank you for telling me ^.^

  • @anie6142 bitter almond oil is not good for hair or lash growth it is good for skin , you should use sweet almond oil for your hair and lashes :)

  • CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME?!?! I dn't know who to take the cap off. even the knife won't work!! i'm using a lancome bottle by the way

  • @SaraSeo1 I've used tweezers with success before. Also pliers might work if tweezers aren't successful:)

  • I'll try it this weekend!

but... I had a question.... I heard sometime that castor oil is .... am... jealous... if you stop of using it, the lashes will fall down... is true?

  • i have split ends on my lashes now !

  • @Kiba309 from what?? this DIY?

  • i'll try tonite

  • can i use something else insteed of aloe vera? im allergic too it :(

  • @HtfRaven I think it would be fine to leave out the Aloe. It's just for added benefit. The real ingredient that helps the lash growth is the castor oil, everything else is extra.

  • I tried this and no offence, but it made my eyes swell and loads of my lashes fell out :// still thanks for putting this up my mum found it useful. I think i was alergic to something in there. Awesome video Klaire like any other :)

  • I bought almond oil and castor oil but I don't think they're natural/pure as neither of them state it or have the ingredients on it. Should I still use them? Or just go and buy pure ones? Thanks.

  • how do you mean it so it isn't as oily? ): i put too much of something..

  • had so much trouble getting the cap off. ruined my fave mascara tube tht i wanted to use. tried another n couldnt get it off. so my mum did it for me =]

    mums can do ANYTHING!!!

  • I have too long lashes :L

  • @ggddrr26 too long??? Most girls would kill for long eyelashes!

  • @banandababa haha Ikr.. but they curl up and poke my eyeball a lot. Like it's ok >:(

  • Can you put this on, and then put mascara on it afterwards, and the gel still have it's effect?

  • Does anyone have a tip on getting the little cap thingy off the tube?? I cant get mine off!!

  • @thepinkturtle376 its gross.. but i bite mine off. LOL

  • @immandrew thanks i'll have to try that:) haha also do you know if we could just use almond oil and vaseline instead of all four products?

  • Use baby oil to clean the tube. Then, use face wash or soap to clean out the baby oil. I use baby oil as a make-up remover, and it works extremely well on mascara.

  • hav u tried this? does it work

  • I'm excited to try this!

  • I tried getting out the mascara out of the tube with a bunch of tissue rolled up like you did, and it didn't work, tips ? :P

  • @LifeIsCrazy24 Use baby oil to clean the tube. Then, use face wash or soap to clean out the baby oil. I use baby oil as a make-up remover, and it works extremely well on mascara.

  • @ninaxxoo ohh thank you!!! :) does it hurt if it gets in your eyes?

  • can you use real aloe vera? i have a bunch growing in my backyard...

  • @chococat1522 it would most likely expire a lot faster than the aloe vera gel that is being used

  • where would i get syringe though?

  • @CuAnge1 She mentions in the description box you can get one at a craft/art or pharmacy store.

  • ty for the tips

  • ty for the tips

  • Why will it not work on eyebrows? Do u have any suggestions for eyebrow growth?

  • can we leave out some of the ingredient? and for olive oil wat happen if i use veg. oil...

  • @chocolatechip487 she never said olive oil.

  • @immandrew : she did! read the info box

  • @immandrew surely she mentioned olive oil, you'll see it, if you can read, nerd ;P

  • Klaire. Thank you SO much. I have trichotillomania and have so much trouble with my lashes. It's been years since there hasn't been a bald spot on my lashes. My lashes are naturally thick and now they're full again. Thank you for giving me some confidence again :')

  • @BlueDolphin2011 awwwwwww! i know how you feel. =/ my BFF macy has superrr long lashes and she gets a ton of attention! Now my eyelashes are growing long as well too =)

  • Would it work if i used fresh aloe vera juice from my plant at home? Aloe vera gel is made of 100% aloe vera anyways :)

  • Lol my spellcheck got all dumb on me on that last comment. I meant to say that I noticed my lashes were getting longer already.

  • I started using this a week ago and I can't see I big difference. I'm really surprised haha.

  • you DON'T have to use all those products. you can use just castor oil. it work perfectly. BELIEVE ME

  • Where can I get aloe Vera gel?

  • Can I add olive oil to the mixture? (:

  • @aliiixl0ve you can use olive oil in place of almond oil. thats what klaire wrote in her description box...

  • Quick tip, use q tips to clean out the bottle

  • could you use real aloe vera gel...taken directly from the plant?

  • Ok...MAJOR change withing 3 days!

I can't really tell if my lashes got thicker but it definitely got a lot longer.

I didn't know that it would work this well. I used olive oil by the way instead of almond oil.

  • @TheVindyko Great testimony now I'm going to have to try my lashes are sooo wild and short... Thanks for your comment I'm going to try it out over the weekend....

  • @mzgemini0006 I just put on mascara yesterday for the first time since I started using this gel and I've never been so confident with my eyelashes before. Believe me, my asian lashes were really short too. I'm really looking forward to further progress.

  • Great, i think i'll try this out. Pure Castor Oil already helped a lot, but everything was so oily afterwards, this might be better :)

Do you also now a mixture, that makes your hair grow faster/healthier?

  • I can't find almond oil. HELP?!

  • @BlueDolphin2011 Walmart, target, kmart or walgreenz ( :

  • @dayzee890 can you tell me which cession or close to what

  • @BlueDolphin2011 try cvs :)

  • READ THE DANG DESCRIPTION . she says NOT to use it on Eye brows, and YES you can use it before mascara. -.-

  • This is amazing :) Definitely gonna try this out!!

And to all the people asking whether it's okay to apply mascara over this or if you can use this on your eyebrows: EVERYTHING IS ANSWERED ALREADY IN THE DESCRIPTION BOX! Please try to find the info yourself before asking the same questions again and again :)

  • can you wear mascara on top of this, i mean apply this and then mascara??

  • @TheFuckyou0 -__- read the description people. ; "I use it every night before i go to bed and sometimes before I apply mascara to give my lashes a protective base and It makes it sooooooo much easier to take the mascara off without pulling out your eyelashes" ._.

  • Do we have to use Aloe vera gel?

  • I only use Vaseline every night. I should start using this!

  • You know what I think I love the most about this video? The fact that you turned the water off when you didn't need it on :)

  • Does anyone know if they sell almod oil, castor gel, & aloe vera gel at WalMart? >.<

  • @JeennyFoo8 im sure they do. walmart sells just about everything haha

  • This is a great tutorial. I've been tempted to purchase Latisse but I worry too much about the side effects.Thank you for providing me with a healthy alternative.

  • Thats fantastic thanks,,clever!!!

  • where can i get that almond oil

  • PICK a light colored tube cuz if the tube is black you will never know if it's clean and free from the old gunk that might be in the tube, I used an cover girl lash blast tube (orange) and it was very easy to pop the top off with a needle nose pliar, also use Dr. Bronners Castile soap or any kind of liquid Castile will really get it clean, also pledge makes great dust cloths you can jab in there with the chop stick + grab a toothbrush! I'll update y'all about how this is working for me l8tr

  • can you do something similar to this for your hair?????

  • @21LadyDxox yes if you put castor oil in your scalp twice a week your hair can grow faster and thicker

  • hay can you wear mascara durring the day still put this on morning and night and have it work?? just wondering

  • has anyone tried this???

  • actually klaire...castor oil is good for hair. i've been using it for a while and it made my hair thicker, shinier and it helps it grow faster and stronger. i usually wash my hair with baby shampoo and it goes out after 2 applications.

  • @dianabananapixie yes, tried it too, I didnt have much hair on my hair line (the sides), so after I used castor oil, I was amased ^_^ Good to hear it worked on other ppl too!

  • @dianabananapixie Is baby shampoo actually good for the hair for everyday use?

  • @fingertwistandsplit well..it's not good to wash your hair every day but if you do..it's better than normal shampoos because it's not that harsh :)

  • @dianabananapixie but does it clean your scalp? I'm afraid it doesn't, then my pores would be clogged :/

  • @fingertwistandsplit it does.

  • does it have to be sweet almond oil

  • I've tried it and Vaseline alone can do the trick. Besides, it works on my brows too.

  • i have been using this mixture for a month now and the result is so so good,my lashes is thicker and healthy too.i will contuine to use this.thanks girl...

  • I have a question by lash growth, do you mean longer lashes or more volumized lashes ? (: thanks.

  • does anyone know where to pick up a syringe similar to the one she's using?

  • @nuklear7 you should be able to pick one up from a pharmacy, they use something like that for people who have undergone dental surgery and they use it to clean the affected area with some kind of solution

  • @nuklear7 yeah i order for it in ebay but i got ten pieces of it,the same syringe that she used

  • will it still be okay if you only use aloe vera gel and vaseline? because i dont have the other stuff. :P

  • @lover65085 yeah! i also use it to take off my eyeliner and mascara

  • Ummm i think you meant long? at the beginning of the vid you said loger

  • I mix vaseline, olive oil and castor oil together in the vaseline container and use this specifically for my lashes! I also wash an old nascara wand and use it for that! I have seen results (length wise) ...I also use Avon Anew Lash Transforming Mascara + Serum too sooo, hoping to see more results

  • does olive oil work?

  • use vasaline. seriously it works and i bet its a lot cheaper!

  • @ilyloser71 I agree Clean a old mascara brush the rub vasaline on the brush and put it on you lashes! Ive done this and it works within about 1-2 weeks :)
