his strategy was all wrong. for one thing, it was a mistake to try to go from mayor of a city to the Presidency. he should have first become governor of New York. for another, when he did ran for President, he took the small states for granted, and by the time he got to florida, it was too late. this is a very, very big loss for our nation; he would have made an outstanding President

I really think Congress will be balanced after November 2010, and that's a good thing. I'm all for a balanced Congress (I'm a moderate after all). But the people like Obama far too much for me to say that he'll lose in 2012. Heath Care isn't his only issue nor is it his only major one, and he's been getting a lot of support for all of his other solutions to America's problems. There'll be a good contest in 2012, but I think he'll win.

Bush has seen such a drop in one yr. I live in New York, I didn't watch from afar where the media could make things look exactly as they wanted, or as I'd politically choose to believe. Rudy Was there constantly,helping, fighting for any help he could get for the suffering, shocked people of NY. If U chose not to see through Joe Biden, thats your right, but don't try to work from the wrong end of the equasion when you try to work out your answer. Tearing down Gulianni will not make Biden more than he is. Joe needs AA & a rest home.

I didn't say Guiliani wasn't there on the day and afterwards working for NYC, just that he could have preventing some of the problems with the command center. Rudy's 9/11 claim for international experience turned himself into a joke candidate.
As for the AA crack, you don't help your argument by making stuff up - Joe doesn't drink, never has. You can make fun of him for *that* if you like, but not call him an alcoholic.

I just got some info from a freind who says that Biden says he never drank because Alcoholism runs high in his family. I can relate to that. So Rather than cast aspersions I will retract my statement. I will say this though, he sure came across as pie-eyed a few times, especially directly after the election results were announced.

Oh I definitly think that the leadership necessary to be president of The USA requires more than what was shone re 911. But I'm not going to say that Rudy doesnt have some of that too. Sometimes leadership is shown in what may appear to be very subtle ways. But to the people of NY, his compassion & hands on addittude meant alot. I have a problem w/ Biden speaking in the rude/arrogant way he did, mostly because Biden has accomplished almost nothing himself & he was in a position to do far more.

biden was a senator for 30+ years. while on the senate, he was a prominent member of a number of senate committees, including the foreign relations one. in terms of foreign policy experience, biden has seen it all and has been almost everywhere from Saudi Arabia to Georgia (the country not the state) to Ireland. I would not say that he accomplished nothing especially compared to giuliani's record on foreign policy. just my two cents.
