  • What a cover!!!!!! Didn't know blackie had it in him!!!!!! Used to see em with massappeal and co all over sydney

  • they also done a really good song wth JerryA. from poison idea

  • Wirklich sehr geil, und das von einer "Punk Band" ! grüße an The Spasteur der mich darauf aufmerksam gemacht hat.......

  • booohaaaaa geil. mir kommen die tränen, ernsthaft... :-)

  • BDO No1..Yessss..

  • This is the first AKADAKA cover that can almost be better than the original. R.I.P. Bon Scott.

  • Anyone who dislikes this is a fuckin peasent!

  • i think i saw a bear in the cave at about 2.37

  • That drummer has mojo

  • @manferot

If mojo is French for "shitty meter", or "a broken metronome", or "little talent", then yes. I agree wholeheartedly.

  • jajajajja esta re chispiado este ajjajaja

  • One classic aussie balls-to-the-wall band covering another classic aussie balls-to-the-walls with a help from ol' hank from the US. How fucking cool is this shit?

  • Finally a way to enjoy AC/DC songs without listening to AC/DC.

  • IMPRESIONANTEEEEEE!!!!!

  • fuckin great Ray number 1

  • haha...let there be drums...there was DRUMS!!...Yeah!...Henry...with the Hard-Ons...what more can you ask for? lovin' it!

  • Rollins is a fucking machine

  • @HeavymetalTHUNDER16 Rollins?What about blackie?

  • Guy out af sons of anarchy?

  • best cover of an ac/dc song i ever heard

  • @mobby32 try LIVE WIRE- Ugly Kid Joe , one of my faves

  • Filth! How's Blackie in stubbies and a Mickey mouse t shirt..... Classic!

  • Miss u Kesh...

  • i spun right out when I found out Rollins is gay

  • @mozartharley Where'd you find that out? He's said more than once that he isn't.

  • Henry Rollins=Psycho business man singer. ha ha

  • Blackie is better than angus!Always has been!!

  • I bought this on 12", yeah. and then I found Hank. Which was nice.

  • Post-Black Flag Rollins has never sounded better than when he did with the Hard-Ons on this song. I think they should do an album together. The same way Jello Biafra and the Melvins did.

  • they play too weak and tinny for rollins amazing voice. I love the hardons but man they sound garage in this. rollins sounds incredible

  • Best AC/DC cover I've heard actually.

  • disturbingly short denim shorts.........brilliant!

  • @DRUMMO7 They are stubbies not denim shorts

  • @sedoble whoops, sorry. how silly of me! lucky you're out there to correct me. people like being corrected.

  • @DRUMMO7 I wasn't out to correct you as such. Stubbies are an Australian brand of shorts for the worker who doesn't give a fuck about image and that pretty much sums up the Hard Ons attitude to music. They just went out and played shit hot music. No offence intended mate

  • cool

  • Nice cover. Are these the same guys who did a cover of "And Then He Kissed Me"?

  • @KokotTheMonkey OK. I see now that they are.

  • Sydney punk brilliance with American genius.....FUCK YEAHHHHHHHH!!!!!

  • in australia we all love anything that fukin rocks.like this song

if you dont like it listen to the original....fuk, thats better

  • Love the rockgasm at the end. I grabbed tissues and had a muck out myself.

  • Henry Rollins. YEAH!

  • joder ke bersion mas mala

  • 19 people are the dumbest motherfuckers in the world...

  • I think this ROCKS and Henry Rollins is awesome!!!!!!!

  • Imitation is the highest form of flattery- Rollins & The hard-ons emulate one of histories greatest bands for a reason - RESPECT. They are giving their spin on an awesome song/band ,not cos the want to be them or be beter than them , they're just rockin out to a classic

  • jack black eat your fkn heart out

  • Henry Rollins and the Hard-ons......... Both fantastic in there own right !!!!!

  • Gotta love the Rollins mate!

  • There is nothing negative here to be said... It's the fucking Hard-Ons and Rollins.. They're not trying to imitate AC/DC they're simply showing the world how fucking awesome they are.. and fuck they've done well.. Hard-Ons are hands down the best Aussie band of all time.

  • Great post. Cannot say much more than THIS KICKS ROYAL ARSE!!!! Thx 4 sharing.

  • dude, henry rollins cannot do this song. i dont have anything against henry rollins, he just cant sing ac/dc.

  • @briantravelman I really don't think 'Henry' is trying to imitate 'Bon' here.

  • @briantravelman

yeah, sadly nor can that screechy bloke they've had singing since Bon died

  • Hard-Ons rules!

  • Cocaine ix a bitch....ask jjj

  • Comment removed

  • classic, love it, saw this live a couple of times

  • this is so good, what a combo, Henry the Hardons and early AcaDaca hell YEAH

  • I have got that single,great

  • good cover, except the guitar was a little off sometimes on the solo, and the guitarists need some pants 4 srs. 0_o

  • Rollins is also very funny, listen to his spoken word cds.

  • You have to love this song. Henry Rollins is awesome.

  • Damn, I love Rollins, He's to amazing for words! :D

  • The contrast of Henry Rollins (Mr Serious) with The Hard-Ons (easy going, take-it-as-it-comes) makes this video come across as a novelty more than anything else.

    Not bad though.

  • The lead singer's is awful, the guitaring is not bad, they got nothing on the original though.

  • this is badass

  • help me kill facebook

  • You've gotta LOVE this one, whether you're an AC/DC fan, a Hard Ons fan, or a Henry Rollins fan ... it's gr8 in anyone's language. Saw these guys many times in their early years - loved their stuff. Still adore Ray - what a honey. Bring back Keish ... the threesome should've stayed together because THEY WERE the Hard Ons.

  • fuck yeah!! Hank and the the Hard-Ons. This is rockin' to the max. Love it!

  • Think I Buggered myself buy putting a plus icon under the last commnent....love this version cause maybe was lucky to see it too....this gives ACDC's version the utmost respect....to me without question and hey if Bon Scott was still alive he would have been there with this jam...true

  • This is a cover peoples. And not a bad one at that.

But I seem to remember a slightly different version of the clip, more of a church setting?

But at 39 I really can't say if I'm right or wrong lol.

Anyway, a great fucking collabaration between Hank & The Hard-Ons!

  • How can you possibly say he's better than Angus. he's just copying what ANGUS WROTE. It's fine. It's good but it's not his.

  • It is a salute to Angus. Like respecting what has been. thats all

  • This guy has a bad ass funny face.. hahaha

  • Saw Henry and The Hard Ons live god knows how many years ago. F**king ace is was.

  • Fuck yeh!

  • TUG ON TOOL, AUSSIES RULE...

  • Bon Scott R.I.P. Henry would feel vindicated to play with an Aussie band.

  • Henry Rollins would eat Bon Scott for breakfast.

  • Henry is great, but u must not really know anything about AC/DC to say that...AC/DC is the best and greatest thing to happen to rock n roll.

  • Bon Scott was a wild one, like Keith Moon.

  • Hes better than Angus

  • WHAT ???????

  • I know,I know-just my opinion.I love Angus and ac/dc but the Hard ons are ****** fantastic.Have a look at where did she come from(live big day out) and you will see what I mean.

  • rollins couldve sang a lot better aside from that this is an awesome cover and the guitar player has a micky mouse shirt lol

  • i like this cover...

  • is that an aboriginal on drums?

  • thats keish de silva , hes sri lankan

and the guiarist is yugoslavian adn the bassist is korean

  • hahaha!!!

  • This is a Fucked up version of an awesome AC/DC song because Henry Rollins fucked up the vocals and lyrics

  • OK this sucks. I sort of like rollins but this is terrible on his part. The band is cool though.

  • thats not singing its shouting?

  • Thanks

  • Malcolm Young gave it the thumbs up so if an AC/DC member likes it ,all those with negative comments can go and suck a dick.........

  • I agree besides Rollins is a class act he did a great job on this

  • @TheTrailerbuilder i dont dislike because its a original AC/DC song but because they just suck

  • bloody fantastic!!!!!!!!

  • used to crank this at me mates years back. always liked this version better bloody classic stuff

  • not bad, sounds like a karaoke compared to bon though.

  • sick sick sick dude good cover but not as good acdc's let there be rock

  • WHOA! Rollins is singing with his clothes on! This version totally destroys - nice post.

  • Awesome cover.

  • "has the money"...? xD

    "has the schmaltz" :p

  • Der alte Mann ist immer noch absolut der Oberhammer - geil!

  • great cover

  • This is fucking great :D

  • fucking poser!

  • It's the white man had the Smolts why change that lyric? But other than that damn badass.

  • its not smolts but smaltz

  • yha but, regardless why change that lyric? It's refering to how rock is bolth a white and black creation "smAltZ" and blues

  • fucking awesome. And what is racist about this you male feminist?

  • so fucken good, cant get enough of it... oh and mr rollins is FUCKEN HOT!

  • si si si hard ons and sprembirds.. good good times! thanx for this!!

  • Let there be guitaaah!

    THEREWASGUITAH.

    Let there be RAWK. RGH.

    That man is frightening.

  • he say's "smultz" very weird

  • hard ons put thier extra 1/3 in to shack up with this one.

  • ehhh. the vocals were to angry

  • The drummer looks dirty

  • racist

  • Its true

  • If ARIA had recognised them they wouldn't have been what they were, you couldn't have gone to the pub before a gig or Waterfront records and had a chat to Ray.

  • Hard-Ons, great band......

  • man i think this might even out rock the original!!!!! macho stuff...OOHHHHH YEEEAHHHH

  • rofl guy has a pokerface

  • nice cover but video sucks

  • no more words, excellent cover, horrible video

  • what is bad about this video?

  • Isn't it White man had the shmaltz? not money?

  • it is

  • Henry grew up when lefty political correctness was heavy in his intellectual scene, so that's whay he probably changed the lyrics, but I agree with you.

  • This is good

  • not bad at all......good try

  • i am an old cunt & have been listning to acdc for a lot of drunken years & of all the shity covers i have heard i have to say this 1 is by far the best.

  • @hqmonaro71 Yeah i just wish they'd got someone else to sing, rollins is a little steroided up rump rustler,he's a short arse butt puncher,he is not worthy

  • @73mandala Yeah I had an HQ coupe(LS), loads of fun, weak diff. Check out some of Rollins other stuff, there is more to him than you think, a smart guy - not the greatest voice, but a lot of good attitude mate. I think a cover is a sign of respect, its not like some boy band are covering it.

  • @brettv8 Don't get me wrong i loved the hard ons but if you're going cover a song with the vocals of Bonn Scott you'd better at least have a good voice. And i agree he's done some good stuff i bought the family man ep which was great

  • @hqmonaro71 PS i'm also an old cunt who owned a hq ss with a 350 in it,my best car i've ever owned,it was a brute, but only in a straight line

  • AC/DC at all punk?

  • Yes... very much so.

  • wrong, you can ask them yourself. they will tell you they arent punk, metal, or even hard rock. They will tell you they are simply "rock n' roll"

  • henry rollins is the fuckin man so all you stupid motherfuckers who think you know your music do us all a favor and shut your fucking mouth

  • you said hard-on

  • I think that the video rocks but I almost fell out of my chair about the whole "henry looks like hes trying to take a reallllly bad shit during this whole thing". lol especially at 1:00 thru 1:02

  • Just as a follow up to my last comment and to be controversial, does anyone else like me think that Henry Rollins absolutely pissed on Glenn Danzig as a performer and voice. I saw Danzig the band supporting Metallica in '88 (Justice tour) and I nearly fell asleep with Danzig's stage charisma

  • Yeah and Danzig in no way ripped of Elvis or Jim Morrison.

  • If I remember correctly, Henry Rollins was in a band called Black Flag who were excellent, Hard ons did many covers including the arab version of "then I kissed Her" which was also excellent, no wonder this collaboration is fucking awesome

  • Descent actor+awful singer=Henry Rollins. Everyone do the math.

  • I'd say decent actor+awesome singer=Henry Fuckin' Rollins.

  • Let's see you do it better.

  • great cover.they rock.

  • AC/DC + Henry Rollins + Hard-Ons = WIN

  • This rules hard.

  • Thanx for posting that! I have seen that video for the last time about 15 years ago and could not find anywhere. Those were the days where only could record on VHS ..

    Thanx again!!!

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS

  • It's a very rough and noisy cover version of Let There Be Rock. With the Hard Ons and good old Henry involved, that shouldn't come as a surprise.

BTW, gotta love the little white preachers patch on Henrys t-shirt. Nice little nod to AC/DCs original video.

  • yes, white man had the money. So anyone with looney left-wing pc ideals about the lyrics can basically just f^ck off.

Just shut the f^ck up and listen to the music. f^ck politics

  • Dude ! My Hero ! Right on !

Kelway74, speaking of historical and social fact is not un-PC.

  • Unless, of course, your wth was cuz it was originally white man had the smarts...

  • "Smoltz"... come back when you know what you're talking about ok?

Stupid cover by the way. Goin' to see the true rock gods in Toronto on Nov 7th!!! Long Live ACDC!

  • The point is: the AC/DC lyric is schmaltz, not money...

  • it's a cover, they can add/take bits out if they want. the lyrics aren't anywhere near 100% anyway

  • No J4mieT, they cannot add/take bits out. I'm sorry. That is not allowed.

  • No.The purpose of a cover is for the cover band to do it in their own style...

  • White man had the money - wth

  • I guess the original lyrics are not PC. Funny that Henry Rollins would feel the need to be politically correct

  • HR = PC

    these days, sad but true.

  • aussie classic broken fists broken bones broken hearts but kick ass rock

  • All RIGHT!

  • And it came to pass That rock 'n' roll was born All across the land every rockin' band Was blowing up a storm The guitarman got famous The businessman got rich And in every bar there was a super star With a seven year itch There were fifteen million fingers Learning how to play And you could hear the fingers picking And this is what they had to say
  • One night in a club called 'The Shaking Hand'

There was a ninety-two decibel rocking band

The music was good and the music was loud

And the singer turned and he said to the crowd -

    Let there be rock

  • In the beginning

    Back in nineteen fifty-five

Man didn't know about a rock 'n' roll show

    And all that jive

The white man had the smoltz

The black man had the blues

No one knew what they was gonna do

    But Tchaikovsky had the news

    He said -

  • very good!

  • Dickcheese is a well known album worldwide. I`ve seen Hard Ons here in Finland,Helsinki,1988 and what a great gig that was!

  • great cover!
