If you read closely he says 120whp which is wheel horsepower, which is about right. For a rear wheel drive car there is about a 30 hp diffference between crank and wheel horsepower.

Nice job ripping it up, these cars do very well with just basic mods. Coilovers, race tires and a good set of brake pads will go a long way!
