thx man this is rly gonna help me when i get break aways and theres players coming from both sides and the keeper's right in front of me. But when I chip it in practice sometimes it always goes over the net... How do you keep it a little lower or take power off of it. I don't use my toes to chip I slice the space between my toes and my instep under the ball

This is a trick that requires more precision than technique. Lobbing the ball is pretty easy, the hard part is put it in the angle :P

@skate2hockey I learned how to chip on my own, and The video does a good job of showing you how to do it. When your toe is just hitting the bottom of the ball, you want your heel to come straight down (it will help you get under the ball better). It takes some timing, but it becomes second nature with practice. The technique i just described isn't good for chipping while running at speed. I'd look at his second technique for that.

I think you should include chipped shots aimed outwards, all your shots are directed towards your left and keepers right. when you shoot outwards you need to give it a bit of a curve, spin.

One tip I would add when chipping, is don't follow through with your foot as you would when actually shooting. If you follow through, it wont be a chip!
