I have a buddy of mine that used to party witth the Pagans back in the 70's from Pennsylvania. That is a gang of tough bikers that you do not want to mess with. He told me a few stories about those guys.

i grew up around alot of pagans. my dad was a pagan and i grew up in bars with them guys most of them are pretty decent guys. most of them are hard working people trying to send there kids to collage because they dont want there kids becoming members. i grew up in bethlehem p.a. i remember guys like slap and hardway all good guys. it aint shit like soa so dont believe the tv shows.

Most likely they were headed to The Annual Roar To The Shore in Wildwood NJ along with the 100,000 other motorcyclists. We were staying at the same hotel that they were this past weekend.

Pagans mc was 360 deg around the place I grew up. In the '70s and part of the '80s they were absolutely to be respected or else feared. But I was known as someone's "little brother" and some were very cool to me as a kid.

When they would ride into the swimming hole we knew, my friends would all start to shit. I'd roll a fresh J then light it and pass it to them as if it was understood. No problems after that - just fun swimmin'
