  • yes, it is good for eye training and coordination, but do you fight like that in a semi controlled situation like in the padded?i doubt it if you can do that in semi real situation.will you stand in front of a bolo like that, oh man,brag this not to visayan like me.

  • This drill looks dangerous even though it is practice. What is the focus and purpose of this drill and is it for advanced practitioners?

  • Yes, it's for advance practitioners. This is to develop further blocking/prarying & counter attacks in a continuous pattern. The one you see, you may not notice, is a combination of about 3 patterns. The idea is pretty much the same with other martial arts; drill of their own. This is most useful during actual fight when you have to counter or respond quick against your opponent's attack. Unlike non-practitioners, they tend to stiff or move back or run away far in order to avoid the attack.

  • Tapi Tapi drill is a good training for eye & body coordination. . .it can be learnt starting from the very basic of it, up to the advance stages
