  • Hello its been a while since I'm trying to make an animation that ivy wife but I will not arive, Jarive make a push but not to do an animation SOMEBODY please help me

    PS: translated with google translation

  • @polau13 hi, i dont think you can animate the IVY from this plugg-in :/

  • Dude, I have cinema r10 and when I try to do that then render it says "texture error" How do I import pictures on cinema? when I do it, it doesnt show the image after the renderr, its all black. What do I have to download to make the image show after the render?!?!?! (I think I have a really old cinema r10) IM NEW TO CINEMA

  • @ArmenianMafiaPS3 hi i recognize your problem. I've had that too. When it says "Texture Error" usually its because your texture file is not att the same place as before. If you are new to 3D then you should create folders specific for each file type. Textures, scenes, renders ect. And put only those files in them. It will be easier to keep track of everything.

About the black renders, the only reason write know is that you may not have any lights in the scene and turend of Auto Light

  • @ResidentAk right now* sorry about misspelling x)

  • @ResidentAk thx, that helped! I subbed and liked!

  • 22,222th viewer ?

  • hahah I use blender, but i just want to know how I could fix my mesh in the ivy generator, traingulate thx dude.

  • didnt work in CD4 12 however Thank you for the video .

  • how do you do this on text

  • @SLAMTproductions not quiet following, what do you mean? :P

  • @ResidentAk

When you write a text in C4D ,how do you import it to another vid,so you can put the text at the ground in the other vid (example)

so it looks like the c4d text rlly is like in the vid

  • @ResidentAk huuh? on text? :P

  • jag tyckte att du lät svensk =D

  • @TwiiZerN heh aah det är jag, på sätt och vis :P

  • try Camtasia Studio..you can "Borrow" it,there are vids here on yt !

  • Not only to you, Ivy Gen FAQ:

"The import does not work properly - my scene looks somehow cluttered. What can I do?

The current release of the Ivy Generator supports only triangular faces. Thus, you have to triangulate your mesh before importing."

  • great tutorial! thanks very much for the info.. I actually have a scene in mind that i would like to use it on.

  • im using win 7..and its looks like ivy generator is doesnt compatible?

  • @jimbostrugglefx hmm im not sure. i use Vista

  • nearly all 3D programs aren't affordable for the normal public. Maybe if you own a company you can wright it off as company materials or something like that and get a big amount of money back from taxes, or a discount when buying over 10 licenses. Still don't understand why they wont just bring out some sort of home edition wich covers most of the basics for modelling for a lower price.

  • yeah that would be a good idea :)

  • @RebeccaLessay Blender is a free modeling program. Ive never used it but ive heard it can do some neat stuff. But if you want to use C4D or ZBrush you could contact me and ill see what I can do to help you.

  • @RebeccaLessay Thats cuz all the home users have a pirate copy.

For all the big companies the home pirate copies are the mos effective way to fix the product on market.

  • I,am new in 3D programs. Is C4D free? If not is it under the 150 USD/EURO?

  • hi, no Cinema 4D costs about 3700 dollars :P

  • Hmmm... Kinda cheap. Ive heard that 3Ds max is so hard and it cost just 4000+. But poorly i dont have it. :P

  • they both have the same price :P but you can always "borrow" it from the net :P

  • @RobinMoviesOffical yeah, theres videos on youtube on how to cheat a serial code and get the full software for free, thats what i done with cinema 4d ;)

  • @ResidentAk torrents ftw.

  • @RobinMoviesOffical - give Blender a try. It is a very powerful and popular 3d modeling program. There is also a free powerful renderer called Kerkythea that you can download. I only like c4d better because it is slightly more user friendly, and has a great built in rendering engine. Blender even has a fluid simulator and a smoke simulator in its beta stage. Look it up and give it a try.

  • why not using the IvyGrower plug in right in

    C4D.? its Free.

  • hmm never heard about it :O where can I get it?

    IvyGenerator is free too :P

  • this works for running in RF4?

  • hmm I'm not sure, maybe :P

  • I try it but,it doesnt run.But i found another way.Thanks.

  • really nice and useful!... thank you...

  • yeeahh!! in flames is my favorite band! Sweden is the land of metal! lml

ohh... :O but, can I chose the kind of leaf? if I want tropical leaf, desert leaf, pine leaf, etc. becouse in the link in the right I saw many kinds of textures, are those for the Ivy generator? can I put it on pre-sets to generate vegetacion with the leaf that I want? hahaha sorry xD I´m very confuse... in my country there are none to ask... xD

  • Hey!! I can see your dissplay :D in flames right? keep headbangging and keep designing! thanks for the tutorial! I´m new in this 3d world XP... mmmm... the question that I have, is.. can I configure the kind of Ivy or vegetacion? becouse I cant find the control on the sofware Ivy generator :S or can I do it after in the cinema 4d?

  • heey =) yes I love In flames ^^

The only thing the Ivy generator does, it that it generates vines. And you can control size & length of thte vines, leaf size, how many leafs you want ect.

    //Sokol

  • hehe :)

  • Att du pallar göra det där :L

  • Det är klart :D
