*Chuckles* Women shop for clothing for their sons, brothers, fathers, and husbands, you know. Just because a woman is holding a pair of jeans you like, don't just assume it's a pair for women. With jeans, there's no real standard, but with buttoned shirts, you can tell the difference because women's shirts are buttoned right over left and men's shirts are buttoned left over right. As for kids' clothing, well... doesn't bother me since I'm small enough to fit. XD

You're hilarious and if it makes you feel any better, I've been there too. I have this problem in the maternity section. I always make my way into that section and I'm going through shirts, dresses and it's only when I get to the pants with high stretchy waists and an armful of maternity wear that I realize it. It's worse when I see someone I work with or only know as an acquaintance. I know it's going to be all over my job that I'm pregnant...and I'm not.

haha i did that too too, i live in Greece and we don't have abercombie so i shop when i come to the states, so a few weeks ago i was at this mall and i saw an abercombie & Fitch store and went in. I started looking around, picking up tshirts and jeans and just browsing and i saw this really nice hoodie with the logo on it, by now the staff was throwing me questioning looks and i actually tried to put on the small but i couldn't, when i realized where i was i retrieved myself embarrassed.. :P

You have a point there regarding shirt sizes especially for men. Particularly, down here, males are very large and for goodness no why, stores stock more XL and XXL shirts than 3XL, 4XL, 5XL. Each I go into a store for a shirt size, I cannot find anything suitable for my body shape. I am not (fat) or obese but this is a real problem for me. Could this be because everything is made in China? I have the exactly same problem with socks too.
