  • I was wondering did you use a single speedlight on the sports car 5.18 into the video where the cars right front wing is almost parallel to your position?

Can you recall your f number for most of the day?

  • @ronaldrt at 5.18 yes only one speed light to the camera right

  • Dom, Great vid, nice cars but the singing not so good. :)

  • Hi How You made that planet photo ?

  • I love it! thx! is that ND grad half or what?

  • ahh sorry, that is me being incredibly thick, you mentioned it in the video about having room to put the logos somewhere there as well. I need to wake up before criticizing haha.

  • @HHtomphoto no it was a valid critique, as a photo by itself it is a bit pump but once you see what graffic artist do with logos and postioning in websites it looks awesome. unfortunatly the company has gone under but the new company i am making a video for jus tnow.

  • Just something i picked up from a random youtube video which i think might apply to some of these photos, especially the motor driving at the end, use landscape mode for things far away, and portrait for things really close, and something i noticed especially with the aston martin car was that there seemed to be loads of dead space? but, i love the globe photo, and that panorama, but better than your photos by a mile, was the singing.

  • @HHtomphoto dead space is there for the users of the images to put their text. and logos.

portrait and landscape mode? what toy camera do you use.... must be a canon user right?

  • btw. YOUR SUCH A FREAK ;D

    great pictures!

  • excuse me?

  • ahahha ;D nice singing at the beggining : )

this made my day ;D thanks!

  • Hey Dom. What kind of filter do you used? Polarizing filter?

Very nice pictures, good work. Cheers

  • check at 2mins 38 seconds. have you ever seen a polarizing filter look like that?

  • @dombower yeah i never saw a polarizing filter like that but i could answer my question, isn't that hard at all :| ty anyway

  • Them pictures came out SUPERB

    congrats Dom.

  • thanks

  • Hi Dom, I am a big fan of yours. Could you please explain how you managed to keep the moving car (Zonda) in focus. I know you moved the camera to create motion blur in the background and less motion blur on the car. I understand you locked the focus on the subject at a certain distance and just kept shooting in continuous mode while moving the camera according to the car position. However, how did you adjust the focus to the moving subject? 3D tracking feature of the camera?

    Thanks a lot

  • yes have the camera on continuous focus drive and 3d tracking

  • lol.. nice music!

  • ha ha i lol'd at 5:58

  • Dom,

Can you give us ,the list of lense/s u used for the shoot!

    Awesome video!

  • tokina 11-16mm.

  • Tx. Its in my wish list!!

BTW i sent you a Flickermail... may be i did a wrong thing..cos i shouldn't have bothering you!

    Sorry!

    Keep Up the Good work!

    Cheers!

  • I wanna know more about that filter Dom!

  • check out my video on it then!!! it is a cokin filter, youtube it

  • I lol'd when I heard "almost ran over my camera bag"

  • Cool filter... Saw your photos in flickr added you as a contact there too... the best part of this is you award winning song! cheers dom! thanks on your your great tutorials....

  • Have you ever tought of using profesional studio flashes?

  • what about 1000 pounds for a flash and stand, another 1000 for the battery generator, a bunch of cables and a lot of weight.... when a nikon speedlight does it all for just £300. when i need more power ill just get more speed lights.

  • well yeah, that's true.

But why not join a photography club, where you can borrow the flashes.

  • again big heavy lights, heavy battery packs, wires and cables etc etc. much better if you can keep it all in a bag and move around freely

  • Hi Dom! I really enjoy your vids and your shots. I also have an S5 Pro with tokina 12-24 and 50mm nikkor. I hope one day I'll be just as good as you are, without being to serious about it- like aother photographers are. Thumbs up!
