Mr Sokhi, you are a truly inspirational cook. Although there is no dearth of good Indian recipes what with so many recipe books, cooking shows and videos that have come up recently, the enthusiasm and energy that you bring to these videos is wonderful. I also love the fact that unlike many other professed 'chefs',you actually share with the viewers, the 'special' tricks and tips that give that extra flavor/aroma/texture to the dish. Please keep up the tremendous work!
I just saw ur recipe for malai kofta and prepared it in the evening. It was excellent! Thanks a lot for the recipe! Hope you would come up with some more recipes Cheers!
But I must admit this version of Malai Kofta does look very good. I am also very glad you did not use any red or green chillies. I am Punjabi and I hate hot foods, we only use black pepper in our dishes.
Pa Ji in America Malai Kofta does not have this white gavy you made. Ours is a tamater gravy. Also when they make the koftas they use a mixture of crumbled paneer, aloo, and mixed veggies. They include palak, gajer, gobhi, mutter, and even corn and green beans all into koftas. Also they are making a paste of kaju for gravy.
Haven't tried this yet, but everything about this recipe makes sense and is sure to taste great! I have tried a recipe which requires boiled potatoes. For some reason the koftas broke as I was frying them. Is that because of using the wrong ratio of corn flour?
Dekh kar munh mein paani aa gaya! Friends ko ghat par bula ke dinner par banaoongi! In India, I'd never have bothered to cook such a time consuming recipe but here in US, the only way to get good Indian food is to cook it at home.
I love the way you show & explain how to cook...actually I landed on to your one of the youtube cooking video accidentally & from that day till today I am following your various recipes...to be very frank, you are much better then your mentor as far as presenting & even cooking skills....love your recipes, keep up the good work...Rgds!

@sanjeevkapoorkhazana I did do your recipe and it was quite good although paneer cheese is not locally available. I substituted low moisture mozzarella and cream cheese which produced lovely white fried discs rather than balls as they collapsed a bit while draining.
