@Tempus81 - i read a few weeks ago on a romanian news site about those laws, even other more outrageous, like: you are arrested if you stay in the same room with a woman other than your wife, you need a special licence if you want to drink alcohol in your own home, you can hold only your wife hand in public otherwise you can get jail time, dancing is allowed only inside your home, is prohibited to go inside Dubai with porc meat or porn... Is this true ?!?! :(

@otonnis like in every Muslim country you can live with a women only if you are married, this usually applies only for Muslims If you are not Muslim no one will really care. yes for alcohol you need license or you can drink at bars and hotels with that license.i never heard that dance is forbidden lol , pork you can buy in Dubai its not banned, Porn can get you in problems better not take it with you :p

@lexicuss1 go to Dubai it is really a great place there is 2 water park as far as i know but there is a lot of theme park there as-well but when your there use the public transport Dubai taxi there the cheapest and you can stay in a hotel for 295AED

Dubai overall is more of a western like city. Compared to other cities in the emirates it's quite liberal and free. Normally in the middle east we find commercial and oppressed populations.

@PlayboyHZ And we respect european countries for their eco-friendliness. But to be honest, a lot of people in the United States are eco-friendly too. I for instance have solar panels on my roof, and own a hybrid vehicle. Some people however, are not as green in our country. And according to our constitution, which is held closer than the bible in the majority of our country, it is their choice to decide what they do.
