Let's face it y'all we don't like change when it's not really needed, but like it or not time goes on... I look at it this way tho, with all this new tech it's leaving the market open for classic deejays who still rock vinyl, that's why I never sold any of my classics recs. There will come a time (thanks to all new tech) that people are gonna want to see a deejay rock how we've always rocked in the past. In time my friends, in time. Wow! Just when u thought u seen it all. I came up from vinyl to CDs to mp3's. But this is kinna crazy. Doesn't leave much room for tricks with just a flat screen.

They wont ever kill deck's or replace them nothing will they do have possibilities for live performances but takes all the realism out of djing, no buttons just an image. they R trying to imitate a turntable. if it aint broke dont fix it! Nothing will ever beat 35+ years of the Technics SL1200 vinyl is for DJ's everything else is a compromise I have an xponent & 1210s Id take the 1210s any day, the xponent/laptop & my tunes fit into 1 bag, Id still need a car for these.

I agree. And you can see waveforms with Traktor but can you touch it? No. Honestly, my next upgrade will be the two Technics and a collection of disco vinyl. I like to touch my music in a dirty way. I see the digital age as simply expanding your options. Face it, not a lot of bedroom DJs can put out vinyl and Traktor doesn't let you touch the sample. MP3/Wav and touchscreens are merely adding to the rep of DJs. As long it brings something new and worthy to the table, I'm for it.

No matter what anyone else says, i applaud your efforts in this innovative development. There are an infinite amount of possibilities with these concepts, and as they develop, it will only get better. This wont be for everyone, but I see it becoming a reality with further development.

if these are compatible with the current popular dj softwares, then they will sell. if not, i doubt dj's would switch from laptop to whatever these require. cd's? sd cards? connected straight from a pc?
