Cod fan boys have no room to speak on any game about knifing... every cod the knifing is horrible i mean god aweful... in cod u can hear the knife tear through the guys flesh but it wont kill him.. main reason i stopped playin.. oh and its just a copy and paste game same shit every year just new maps..its been like that since 06... i do like the story modes though

@CHOSENMARINE Well that depends on how you see it, the animation is well made but takes to long, i'm not in for fast knifing but in BF3 you will most probably die like half of the times during the knifing, makes you have to handpick the target literally.

BFBC2 Knifing seems really slow though, compared to other games, like CoD. The knifing also seems a lot diffirent on console than it does on PC, probably making it a bit harder.

At 0:20 and 0:24, you were 1 millisecond away from reloading your shotgun. Basically, you tapped it with a fresh mag twice XD. Bummer.

lol i try and practice knifing in those "knifing rounds" whenever they come along. their pretty fun, not to mention u get to laugh at all the glitches that you encounter. i snuck up on a sniper, knifed him 4 times, 3 times my avatar did the animation scheme were it would force me closer to him to stab, but for some reason he just wouldnt die. he turns around, strikes me once, and [INSERT RAGE QUIT HERE]

Battlefield always had an issue regarding knifing. In BF2142 for example, sometimes it gets frustrating as fuck. Combine that with lag and you get a rage quit. It seems they haven't changed a bit...

yes but his character did move to do the knife then came in at the knifing angle 2wice which never misses anyway unless they sprint, this medic was obviously, or maybe just a little bit stood out as a modder

@lolz976 Not necessarily. I have seen the knife, even with the special animation, somehow magically miss many times. It's incredibly irritating. It's happened to me when I was knifing a guy on a UAV -- it took me four knives for the hit to finally register.

Besides having a bad enough knife system, if you even managed to sneakily kill a guy, any nearby squad members that didn't even see him die will yell out "Man down!" giving away your cover :/ Coulda had entire squad kills if it wasn't for that too.

This bug depends on the other player, I tried to knife a guy 4 times in a game but it never worked... but there's also a similar bug for other weapons, sometimes i shoot my entire mag on an enemy but he doesn't take any damage (no, i'm sure i don't miss him).

@bastianjustin Umm yeah, but the BC2 knifing system is so bugged, that even if you SHOULD get the kill with knife - you don't. In MW2 you always get the kill :|

@Grzesiekarator MW2, from what I notice, has a priority system of some sorts. If you shoot the guy in the had and he knifes, the headshot WILL count and not the knife, its pretty screwy. The BC2 Knifing system is bugged up the rear, kinda annoying I succesfully knfie only for it to not register and they counter-knife and succeed. :|

Yeah when I was low rank my knife worked every single time, as I got higher rank not so much. Was once standing behind a wookiie(sniper) and the knife failed 8 times before i decided to shoot him in the head.

I don't have a problem with the method in which the knife is used, but that it is always buggy and doesn't work when you shank someone. yes, they made it that way so you can't MW2 commando people, but it needs to be reliable.

Not really. I wouldn't worry about it. The knife works sometimes, but sometimes it doesn't. You really don't need it. Just enjoy the game.

The knife is less effective than MW2's in several ways, even if it worked, and the fact that it doesn't makes it even LESS effective.
