I bought an A2 styled AR for 750$ and I'm very happy with it. I love how the ARX looks, but when it comes to weapons, aesthetics are at most a side-effect. I'd rather have an embarrasing pink phallic-like weapon that works reliably every time than a sexy looking weapon that's not as reliable.
I love my Berettas. I've a 92G (French Army) and a CX-4 in 9mm. I almost can't say enough good things about them. However, When I look at the ARX -160, I feel doubt for it's success. What is this weapon bringing new to the table? Field strip-ability is definitely a plus but I feel is hardly revolutionary. Piston system? Cool- that one-ups the reliability over the m16/m4 (and wont blow up if filled with water, I think.) but again, other companies already offer this.
More features than a SCAR or ACR. Nice weapon even though I'm not a huge beretta fan I would definitely put this weapon at the top of my wanted list for a combat carbine. Anyone that doesn't like this weapon hasn't done there research and the weapon has already been battle proven in Afghanistan. Semper Fi.

the AR70/90 is an excellent weapon, it offers rapid fire with high rates and in single shot mode has almost precision rifle performance up to 8-900 meters.
It looks akward because Beretta designed it witha riveted plate cosntruction scheme to keep production cost and time very low which is what an army looks for during a war...

So you enter a building as a SWAT cop, if you turn to the left are you going to take the time to change the way the empty leaves? I doubt it. A real test we all want to see is if you dump sand all over it and it still works.

Man that ARX is gonna blow everything out of the water (talking about scar, acr, HK and all piston gas system ARs) I dont think there is anything as versatile out on the market as of now
@LPSmasonry uhhh... no, the ACR has already perfected the market, there are less Lefties out there, AND the Gas Piston system has already been perfected, completely getting rid of the rounds "cooking off" issue.
@LPSmasonry Doubt it. It doesn't really do anything the SCAR doesn't except the ejection side changing, and most shooters are right handed. It's also extremely bulky.
