the rock band version is actually accurately tabbed. neil does the doubles on some notes, go watch a live video and follow his feet, and listen to the song closely through a hi-fi of something, you know its there.

Actually, Guitar Hero is charted better. Rather than charting the double hits as two notes, which introduces a frustrating obstacle due to the fact that the RB pack-in drums barely register anything faster than 16th notes, GH charts them as "armored notes." When a drummer plays a double note, he hits the drum hard and allows the stick to rebound, but doesn't hit the pad twice, so, in effect, Guitar Hero is significantly more realistic. Not that either of them are very realistic.

you can easily play fast doubles on the GH drums by doing just that, letting the stick rebound. armored notes are just making things easier

What would expert + have to do on this song? Unless it does something more than just add double bass. Neil doesn't use double in this song therefore the game shouldn't either.

they're the notes that neil lightly hits on the snare that you can barely hear. They're charted in rock band, which is probably what makes it harder.
