  • He became a Catholic because the woman he was cheating on his wife with for six year was a " staunch Catholic," whom he later married. Hmmm.

  • didn't anyone of you realize newt is a politician?? he "converted" for votes. come on now even you christians have to see past this charade.

  • @garrickrising Newt converts to Catholic for vote ? beside John F kenedy, was a president. Was their any other Catholic as president ? NO!

  • @164sonvu No, denomination has nothing to do with it. He said he recently became a "christian" for real this time. I guess he was only playing religion before. Who knows? I didn't even mention Catholicism. Are you going to tell me that only a couple of Presidents were christian??

  • Hey bro! I passed this on today to my friends, some who are not Catholic. I've just been thinking about this a lot lately. And you made an interesting call in suggesting Newt Gingerich would be facing Barack Obama when at the time you posted this, he was mostly an afterthought by many. I remember when I was entering the Catholic church I really appreciate the videos you make. You speak in a sensible, civil manner.

  • @UnDauntedDoubleDorks Thanks for your kind words. I enjoy your videos too. It has got to be convincing for Protestants to hear everything explained from the perspective of an ex-Protestant. Regarding Newt, it would be great if he won. Not that America has much chance of reforming, but at least we would have a strong, Catholic leader in Newt. I believe we must end abortion first if America is ever to recover.

  • Ernest Hemingway? He committed suicide. I guess he put up some obstacles to the Faith even though he may have converted.

  • @Hirduin he did receive a catholic funeral.

my understanding is that suicide (a touchy subject ) is not a black or white issue.

the church thought, in Hemingway case, his suicide happened in a way which still allowed a catholic funeral. Hemingway had suffered from very bad depression and he seeked treatment. doctors gave him electroshock therapy and Hemingway got permanent brain damage from it. that's why he killed himself.

  • What ever pple; u can say anything u want, is not gonna change anything ok. It's true what it says in the bble; pple of Satan will attack Jesus Church, and pple will say bad abd horrible things about the Church of Jesus Christ, but it ant gonna change the truth ok youz pple are evil...Youz just don't want to see the truth because of so much jealousy and hatred towards catholic...wake up u bunch of a ignorant and looser..

  • Of course, the unholy Roman Catholic Church, the so-called "sole Church of Christ" (CCC 816) wants to divide Israel. Does that make sense? Why would God's alleged Church want that? Only the harlot Church can desire such a division; a weakened Israeli state is what they want. So, while Israel sleeps, Rome and Mecca join forces in order to create the false peace, or as they put it, the "culture of peace," that one day will lead to both Rome's and Mecca's destruction.

  • I would have preferred most of the current ones to convert to Judaism-given how insanely pro-zionist and neocon they are, no big stretch.

Yea, I am sure Archbishop Oscar Romero, the American Church Women and the Jesuits murdered in El Salvador by right wing death squads would have been thrilled to have these clowns in the Church. They would be handing Roberto Dubusson the bullets to kill them, assuming they did not actually do so years ago.

  • @froberts7 Islam was invented by a man known as Mohamed -- which is not a proper name, but simply means "beloved one" -- by knitting together Judaism and Christianity. Islam is a false religion exactly the same as the Mormon cult. A man simply wanted to be the "prophet" and so he studied Christian and Jewish scriptures and fabricated the Quran to make it sound like sacred writings -- like Joseph Smith fabricated the Book of Mormon. Islam will send you to Hell, friend. It is false.

  • @froberts7

I'll convert to Roman Catholicism before Islam.

  • Ramadan 1997 title: "Christians and Muslims.

Believers in God faithful to Man" Muslims are "believers in God?" How so? Christ is God, so how can Muslims be "believers in God?" Oh, but yes I am saved, but it's not through the sacrament of Baptism. Yes, I was raised Catholic and baptized, but that water did not cleanse me from sin. Faith in the One who took my sins upon the cross, who died in my stead, and who rose for my justification, is the One who saves - not the Church of Rome.

  • @stinkygeorgia1 So when Peter directly teaches that Baptism is "for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2)", I guess he got it wrong? Or when Peter also wrote, "Baptism...now SAVES you (1 Pt 3:21)." Again, on Muslims, if you think the Church teaches that Muslims are believers in Jesus Christ, you are just terribly mistaken. If you can produce a quote from a Pope that Muslims are believers in Christ, then let me see it.

  • @deliveringit “Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?” - Acts 11: 16-17

  • (Cont.) ...himself in some way to the followers of other religious traditions."[48] "Christians must be prepared to learn and to receive from and through others the positive values of their traditions." [49] "Their faith will gain new dimensions as they discover the active presence of the mystery of Jesus Christ beyond the visible boundaries of the Church and of the Christian fold." [50] Sorry, but Jesus is not in Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Mormonism, animism, or any other ism out there.

  • Jesus said He "is the way, the truth, and the life. And no one comes to the Father but through Him," (John 14:6) yet Rome says: "the fullness of truth received in Jesus Christ does not give individual Christians the guarantee that they have grasped that truth fully." [49] (Google "Vatican.va and Dialogue and Proclamation") Well, that's what you get when you follow a Church, and not the Head of the church, Jesus Christ. Here's some more: Christians must remember that God has...manifested

  • @stinkygeorgia1 So you think every Christian fully grasps the truth? Why then do you Protestants constantly argue amongst yourselves? Arminians vs. Calvinsist, KJV-onlyites vs. others, Luther/salvific baptism vs. Baptists/non-salvific baptism. If every Christian fully grasps the truth, then ALL of the groups previously mentioned would be right at the same time. Think about what you write first before you continue to embarass yourself.

  • @stinkygeorgia1 I will look forward to you preaching that in front of any synogogue in Israel although I would suggest, dearly beloved, that you preach on St. John (woops, showing my Romanism there) Chapter 8.

I will ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to protect you from being killed by the raging mob long enough simply to be beaten up and arrested by the IDF and deported back to the USA.

  • @RPenta It sounds like you would be one to join them in stoning Stephen. Yes, the truth will get you killed. The lies from Rome will make you many friends as evidenced by Rome's "culture of peace" with Islam - the other billion plus students of the Devil.

  • @stinkygeorgia1 Eh, no you idiot. On the contrary, I am a member of the Church for which St. Stephen was martyred for for which he used to be honored. The RCC is interested in peace and not adding to the number of insane wars started by the neocons and their fellow travelers in US and Israel, including the most insane of all called Christian Zionists.

  • “Looking after the common good means making use of the new opportunities for the redistribution of wealth among the different areas of the planet... to ensure a globalization in solidarity, a globalization without marginalization.” (363)

Ah Rome, the Socialist Church that wants to "[restore] and [bear] witness to the unity lost at Babel." (431)

  • @stinkygeorgia1 Your random quote carries no weight here. Please give complete context and references. The Catholic social teaching is very sound -- even just recently, Pope Benedict called for subsidiarity as being paramount. Please do some homework and read the article on subsidiarity (Catholic) in Wikipedia to start with.

  • @deliveringit - "to ensure a globalization in solidarity, a globalization without marginalization.” Now, that doesn't sound like subsidiarity - it's global. Rome, like Obama, is a great community organizer; the fire gets stoked, the flames are fanned, and take it from there, you have thousands in Wisconsin protesting. Didn't you know that Obama was influenced by Rome's social justice. Just Google "Obama influenced by Catholic Social Justice Foxnews."

  • @stinkygeorgia1 Your quote is willy-nilly. It simply doesn't support your seemingly random attacks against the Church. What? You are against global solidarity? Isn't that the whole reason Jesus commanded that the Gospel be preached to ALL nations? What? You WANT "marginalization?" Seriously, you really need to actually research what the Church teaches.

  • @deliveringit "you really need to actually research what the Church teaches" - deliveringit Sorry, but you are mistaken. This is not "willy-nilly" random attacks. Actually, the repercussions are quite serious. Here you have your church (Rome) saying "peace and security," (1 Thessalonians 5: 3) when God's word warns against it. Oh, it's just "willy-nilly," right? And Jesus, said He DID NOT come to bring PEACE, but a SWORD (i.e. division) Read it sometime (Matthew 10:34) What's truth to u?

  • @stinkygeorgia1 More willy-nilly quotes. Give me a break. The Catholic Church proclaims the peace of Christ anbd you have a problem with that?!?!? Are you kidding me? Your willy-nilly quote out of context about peace/sword notwithstanding. Did you ever read, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you (Jn 14:27)?" Or "Peace be to you (Jn 20:21)?"

  • @deliveringit "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you" deliveringit That is for believers. They receive His peace. You cannot receive His peace through the sacraments, the Church's Magisterium etc. Rome is playing the peace card with Muslims, for example, in order to build this "unity lost at Babel"; Rome calls them (Muslims) "believers" and says they too, are part of the "plan of salvation" in "the first place." (CCC 841) Sorry, Muslims cannot know God. Yet, Rome says they can.

  • @stinkygeorgia1 Again, try doing a littel homework. The Catholic church does not say that Muslims are believers in Christ. That is just drivel. A total waste of our time. The Catholic Church has ALWAYS taught that unless one becomes Christian, one cannot be saved. "There is but one universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved." -- (Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, 1215.)

  • @deliveringit "The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."(CCC 841) Rome's words to Muslims: "In the troubled times we are passing through, religious believers have, as servants of the Almighty..." (Ramadan 2007) -- "servants of the Almighty"

  • I would love to hear those Catholic political pundits on t.v. and radio (you know there names - e.g. Ingraham, Hannity, Bill Cunningham, Bill Bennett, Gingrich, Dinesh D'souza, Michelle Malkin et al.) expose Rome's social teaching. Take the "redistribution of wealth." I heard it go on for weeks (the name calling) when Obama told Joe the Plumber he want to "spread the wealth around" but you did not hear them utter one word about the Social teaching of their beloved Church. Here it is...

  • Lila Rose also just converted. Google her name. She is the one who did the great exposes of Planned Parenthood.

  • Many many people of all races are coming home to the Father's House, the New Israel and becoming New Jews, who are Catholics, the Younger Brother. I converted in the early 90s during my time at the University of Florida after reading Scipture and History...

  • Catholicism is the most intellectual and authentic articulation of Christianity. I respect many other branches like the Anglican and Orthodox etc. But born again fundamentalists give a very naive inaccurate fanatic view of Christianity. Atheists take pleasure in dismantling the belief of fundamentalists since those beliefs are easily refutable.

  • Tony Blair was ordered to pretend a public conversion to Catholicism to divert the attention and the blame or the war from its real architects, the jewish neo-cons. When the whole world was coming to finally realise the obvious, that the monsters behind the war for greater israel, sorry, the war for democracy in iraq, were the zionist neocons and media moghuls, like a cheap illusionist he draws the attention to his "christian faith", with the aid of the media. Fantastic!

  • Ignorant Catholics are ones to convert to protestant churches. On the other hand protestant scholars are converting to Holy Mother Church.

I invite ALL ex-catholics to take another look and see how it's working out for you.

For most protestants your Pastor is your Pope. He has the full authority. When it come to faith & morals, we have the magisteriam of the Catholic church, Apostolic Tradition and the infallibility of the Pope.

One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God & Father Eph4:3-6

  • My Catholic Brother thank you for the video and the list of converts.

There are many so called Catholics that are becoming protestants.

Many do NOT know scripture or tradition. So the protestants are made up of many ignorant Catholics. This situation is very sad today. On the other hand, we have protestant scholars that are converting to holy mother church. We have Pastors and whole congregations becoming atholic. Who converts makes a huge difference. GLORY BE TO GOD.

    keep the love and peace

  • As a Catholic one can look past Newt's history of 30 yrs of adultery ( one must assume he ended such habits) but the fact he is a war monger and supports pre emptive war,- in direct opposition to the Pope, proves he is a cafeteria catholic, which is really no Catholic at all. Newt is a Ph.D , so he of all people has no excuse. He can read. Pre-emptive war is another term for cold blooded murder. He says he is pro life, baloney.

  • History will also show how the stories of 6,000,000 gassed Jews was a lie, but served Zionist interests well, as it provided huge funding for their causes and helped to keep to the Palestinian people enslaved in a prison with brutal conditions.

How can Catholics, any Catholic, ever support the evil apartheid and brutal state called Israel. What a travesty of justice for the poor and defenseless.

  • So did Tony Blair renounce the occult? Google "tony blair spirit of the light" Did Mr Blair rebuke the UN for the Eugenics & the on going depopulation programs? Will Mr Gingrich be going back to the bohemian grove? The place known for homosexual orgies & where the demon Molech is worshiped. I agree with your assessment about Mr Gingrich if he can get passed Ron Paul. My concern with these converts is the Occult, Eugenics and Globalist connections they have. Are these converts or infiltrators?

  • @PioKolby Pray for Mr. Blair. Pray that God gives him a good swift kick in the butt.

  • @PioKolby Your points about Blair are valid, but in charity, we can hold out hope that now that he is in the Church, the Holy Spirit can work on him through the agency of the Church. For the occult -- we must also remember that neither Pope JPII nor Benedict rebuked the UN during their various speeches there. And, JPII had the day of prayer for peace at Assisi where there were also occult goings-on.

  • @deliveringit I think JPII & Benedict were men who later became Pope both lived in the days of world war 2. I think they really want to be believe in the UN in the hope the evil of that War would not be repeated in history. The UN is anti Christ & anti human. History will rebuke Catholics for the ecumenical madness. In my judgment Assisi smells of apostasy . I hope you are correct about Mr. Blair. As for Gingrich we shouldn't be so naive on the Globalism,Freemasonry Bohemian grove front.

  • @PioKolby Have hope, my friend. Converting to the Catholic Church still means something. Even Constantine was the worst Pagan/devil worshipper before he converted. Saul was complicit in murdering Christians. And yes, Newt went to the Grove. But pray for him that the Sanctifying Grace of the Catholic Sacraments will help him in sincerity and sanctification. There is a reason St. Paul referred to it as a "new creature." Therein lies our hope.

  • @deliveringit I do have hope I know anyone can become a saint. I was a real bad sinner. I was wicked and still would be if it was not for God's grace. What I am sick of is unrepentant Freemasons and other occultists acting like us to get our votes. I am deeply concerned with Ewtn's link to Newt and other Republicans like Michael Steel who goes on the world over then goes to a strip club or Laura Bush coming out for killing babies and sodomy. Bush is Freemason is Jeb also? I think it matters.

  • Bobby Jindal for president 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice work. God bless you brother.

  • i'm not sure how well Tony Blair understands the Catholic teaching on respect for human life and abortion, embryonic stem cell research and homosexuality. I found an article about him on LifeSiteNews that was very disappointing, so he's maybe one you might not want to point to as a success story just yet. Great video otherwise - God bless.

  • Beckwith's was huge. He posts at prosblogion.
