I put headphones to my wife's stomach when she was pregnant with our first child and my wife felt our baby move for the first time. Now, years later our oldest girl still loves this song. It's such a beautiful piece.
My last year at Stetson, Kim Pealak would play this for me everyday before we began our practice. It is many years later I have performed it often and had some students play it for their senior recitals, but will never forget Kim raising my spriits each day with this. Andrew was always very nice to me, a class act and great composer.
You are correct about one thing. Andrew York is an amazing guitarist/composer. It was great having him in the LAGQ, but he's moved on to other things and was replaced by my first classical guitar teacher Matthew Grief, who is also an amazing guitarist. You should check out Matthew's first CD, Diferencias Diferentes, in which he and Andrew do a couple of great improv pieces.
First two chords sounds like "Comenzando a vivir" from Julio Revueltas another great guitar player.

This is so beautiful, I just love Andrew York. Such a shame he isn't with the LAGQ any more.
