Im sure Muhammad doesnt want people to feel sad for him due to his condition. He did his job, he is the greatest boxer of all time. he is a hero to so many people including me. He was not just an athlete, he advocated civil rights, gave so much charity, and is internationally loved, not just in america. True champion, True Muslim, and True hero.
how is it disturbing its an honor even though he has da disease like ali said God puts trials and tribulations in our lives for a reason hes not mentally gone or sick its just motor skills and physical its an honor even though he had problems walkin and wavin to da crowd hes an old man i mean hes not gonna be da same person he was 20,30,or 40 yrs ago watch his before and after interview he said it himself

He seems to have the same stare and movement the Ayatollah Khomeni used to have near the end. Sad. Looks like my grandma could now give him a workout, and, she's 101.
You are the most despicable, hatred-filled, cold hearted piece of evil I have ever come across. You must immediately seek psycho-therapy and extensive mental care.. and before all, seek forgiveness from the almighty Creator.
LA Olympic was a especial one;for many reason but one that stood out the most was when Ali took over as a final Torch bearer,Parkinson might have slowed him down but the fighting Spirit remained the same at Barcelona Flaming Arrow was nice..Cathy's Torch was Symbolic and Powerful at Sydney...but nothing beats Ali's.
for those fucking retards who dont know jack shit about greatness and glory mohammed ali is the greatest boxer who ever lived and a fine man, parkinson or not hes still the greatest and this just shows his greatness when he dont say a single word and shock up the whole place feel sorry for yourself because you cant recognise a man who has a special talent he did what no one else did hes a proud and lengendary man, you white scums tried to put him in jail and he whupped your ass's
They are treating him like an exotic animal in a cage just gawping at his condition this is appalling and should be stopped in the name of humanity and decency levae the poor man alone let him die in peace and with integrity
Congratulations you stupid marketing animals! Let him alone....he is sick with a vital disease 20 years now! If you want to honour him...just project a video with his best moments...standing fighting and winning! dressing him like a clown and placing him in the middle of orange bowl just to be applaused only makes things worse.
It is very sad to see him like this. I agree that he should be left alone, unless Muhammad himself wants to be out there, and if he does let him. We all love him.
I read one of SI's articles on his 65th birthday, & I couldn't agree more with what they have to say. Let's stop parading this man out as if his only purpose in life is to let us show him off. Let him live the rest of his life in peace as he desires, as he's certainly earned it.
People talk about Holmes causing the Parkinson's, Manilla starting the Parkinson's, Zaire starting the Parkinson's. The scary truth is Ali's speech was affected, and his movements were affected BEFORE Zaire (he started getting a little robotic in his motions in the early '70s). I guess the first Frazier fight might have been enough to do the trick. He took a lot of shots that night, and if you watch the documentary footage thereafter he never was quite the same. The other ones didn't help.
I was there and he looked worse in person, he was very drugged up. At the beginning he was staring into space...not sure he know here he was. Arnie looked good though
u spelled his name wrong

" Even in a weaken condition, follow your hero, he is the reason, why you are still breathing. " - Jay
Having a positive influence in your life, can be the difference between having a rewarding life, or having a failed life.
Ali is such a hero, positive influence and a symbol of hope, strength, courage, determination, reality, roadblocks, and smooth landings. He is great.
