  • wtf for????

  • wait so by doing this u can use the whole field as a place to fight him?

  • Can I make him fly into space?

  • ok im kinda confused, sorry to ask this but, how the hell did u do this, do i need a program or something? will this harm my data for the game? please tell me anything helpfull, cuz im completly cluless of how this works but i dont wanna screw up my data

  • @RandomJoe1174 no there are certain areas in the game where you can walk off the field and float in the air. what master ZED is doing is having the dopple use a lvl3 art and changing weaps in the middle of it so that the dopple stops and he gets stuck in mid air. simple concept really.

  • Q1: so wat if u do all of those steps and ur both in mid air and just for the heck of it, u wanna stay up dere with out the doppel... if u fight and destroy him, will u go back down?

Q2: does a party work? ( about the same thing on top)

  • 1. If you fight, you're guaranteed to go back down at some point. At least, he is, since someone's corpse has to hit the ground for the fight to end.

Of course, you don't have to fight if you want to stay airborne; you can just run and let him warp away, then wander either over the temple or out of bounds to make sure you don't get sucked into another fight (which would definitely bring you back down).

    2. Yep.

  • do u think this mod can work in the rebirth or reminisce?

  • If the right fields exist, of course... to an extent.

Doppel can only "jump" in Redemption because he has access to Lv.3 Arts, and even if you hack the games to get them, the animations don't exist in the prior two volumes. The only way to go up, then, would be to make him use the hold and release attack on his broadsword, since that's a jumping maneuver and will take Doppel and/or you upward.

'course, you'd better be in it for the long haul, as the height gain is much shorter. :\

  • yea thats gonna be hard... thx ^_^

  • What are those Twin Blades that you have equipted?

  • @KajiShinKun Spin Fang. Level 78 weapon. At least, I THINK that's what they are...

  • Nice! :D

  • I don't have the second and third keywords to get there. How do I unlock them?

  • just tried this; Doppleganger nailed me with a ground pound with the broadsword and slammed through the floor while we were going up.

Fell right through the floor and into the abyss (still falling)

  • nm i saw how you do it i was just being retarded

  • and how did you get the cage to dissapear in your other dopple uncaged video

  • where do you get the spirit grasp custimization for the weapons??

  • how do you get him to walk on air???

  • Just do the same things you see in the video. You don't really have to understand exactly how it works, but basically, gravity only works in select instances; the rest of the time, there's a constant check for whether you're above and close enough to the ground, and if you're in that airspace but not on the ground, you get teleported down. If you're clear of that space, you can walk on air.

Heck, if you take this to its logical conclusion, you can walk on the sky itself.

  • thats funny hes walking on air

  • hey thanks for the help really

  • how do you get the scythe hidaru

  • LV. ~93 dungeons, preferably Darkness, or the NAOO knights Guild shop in Dol Dona.

  • What is this useful for? How can it be exploited further?

  • When you put it like that, it's pretty worthless. It's no bike glitch; the only real use out-of-bounds bugs have in this game is skipping the Judge's Symbol. If the testers hadn't caught on to the Platform version, this could've been done on a storyline field.

Unless we can find another way to go through the walls, OOB bugs of all types are mere novelties. The only other method I know of is to get off the bike next to and parallel to a wall, but that works for one teammate, not Haseo. :(

  • They are indeed fun; Can this be used in the Anti-Existence fight? Can it be used with Matsu's doppelganger as well?

  • Unfortunately, while there's no floor or ceiling to the cages themselves, there is a height limit the game won't let struck characters or enemies pass near the visible top of the cage. The cage itself extends further upward, ensuring no chance of going over the cage wall, or any other known wall, by any normal means. You can see this easily juggling someone with the dual guns; just wait until they stop ascending.

In short, the answer is no. However, I'd rather be optimistic and say not yet.

  • And Steam Gunners don't have any arts that make them get off the ground. :/

  • How long did it take to get all those Nil Embraces? O_o

  • Well, I raided the final phase of the Forest of Pain 20 times at least in order to get 100 Wonder Potion and enough Nil Embrace for anything I wanted, so several hours at least. The Mind Fenlong demo was taped there because I was still collecting the potions.

Oddly enough, I also got what evened out to be one Revival Serum per raid, so I have 22 of those counting my first Serum and the one Bikman rewards you with.

  • I believe my total Nil Embrace, IIRC, is as follows: 4 - Storage 1 - Rage Nezumi 3 - Usurp Drake 3 - Mind Fenlong 1 - Rage Fenlong 3 - Mind Hidaru 2 - Rage Nezumi and Rage Drake (Alkaid) 2 - Rage Nezumi and Rage Drake (Natsume) 3 - Mind Hidaru (Zelkova) So... 22 in total... sounds about right. I did at least one extra raid for some reason so Bo ended up with a few Wonder Potion.
  • 22? Crap. That's a heck of a lot.

    Collection madness.

I can barely even get much GP. xD

  • I've actually been giving the leftovers of my money raids to Natsume to sell; she has 1.5 million GP or so. The reason for that is to make sure she can always quickly replenish her Lovers supply, that way I can trade for more as needed.

As for collecting, it's just one of my quirks. I have a horrible habit of seeking the greatest power, known or unknown, whenever I come to really like a game. That always comes in the form of knowledge, and in .hack, inventory as well.

  • Your Money Raiding is insane. o_O

I have like 2.4 Million only, and everyone but Zelkova has like 10,000s and 2,000s.

  • Oh and concerning the money raiding. I know there's the Rush Fisher source for Reminisce, but is what source of expensive equipment is there in Redemption? I just run around selling Super Belts but even then I don't have any suitable areas for collecting them. D:

  • For Super Belts, Sigma: Adoring Fruitless Guard. It's a level 149, 2-level Cloister dungeon that's absolutely packed with Super Belts provided you can get Totetsu to show up. If you don't kick him, the objects are full of Revive Storm. I may have mentioned this area already.... :\

Any LV. 150 field with a lot of enemy parties will also work; Train Balls are only 18500 less than Super Belts, but you can use Wish Filefish or its superior version (I forget what it is) to gather more per fight.

  • I should also warn you that the Cloister dungeon layout is a little random; my best results came when I forced the Battle Area to appear (so 2, 5, or 8 people in the dungeon).

Also, if you take the 150 field idea, be aware that with Wish Filefish and two Dowsing Boards, you're gonna get a *lot* of Train Balls, more than you can handle if you keep spare equipment on you like I do. This is the route I used for Natsume, since it usually made reaching her 10 equipment selling limit cake.

  • I usually don't carry spare equipment. I've stuck to Fenlong and Hidaru since I started Redemption, and then obtained Nezumi along the way. I mostly use DG-Y for the Super Charge+Pure Medallion spam. The only spare equipment I carry around is DG-0, Other Self, Shadow, and Passion/Appraise/Berserk/etc Super Belts.

  • Spare equipment has always been a habit of mine since IMOQ. In addition to the Super Belts, I've got Demon Safe Shoes, Compress Fortunes (Speed +35%), Divine Drake (Combo Assist, Spirit Grasp, Past Invite), Chain Fenlong, Silad, Mind Hidaru (Spirit Grasp x3, but I rarely use it), Other Self, and recently I've added a Divine Gorai. Combo Assist, Venomous Attack, and Past Invite (these were the blades featured in the Horndrigal video). Without Alkaid/Natsume, this will be my Past Invite blade.

  • As for Shadow, I gave that to Sakubo a long time ago. I'm a big fan of the Eternal Light/Shadow pairing since only a mage or a Steam Gunner can make the best use of Shadow on my teams, and I'd rather have Sakubo's diverse arsenal instead of Kuhn's constant Dust Bullet. Bo is also my other FoP companion specifically to pull double duty on combo Favorites and nightmarish Magical assaults. There's really no need for another physical class since the Killer Hidaru and Silad have it taken care of.

  • Yeah I forgot Demon Safe Shoes. And a random spare Compress Super Belt. x_X

  • Well, it's not really random. Demon Safe Shoes only have Speed +25%, whereas the belt has 35%. I use the belt when I have a teammate using No Encounters. It's faster, and thanks to a glitch, I don't have to hear footsteps anymore once I stack Ap Do on top. :)

  • I know lol. I shoved Funbolt Oil and Gudo Oil onto Simple Fortunes one day, and then just casted Ap Do for no reason really. No footsteps. At first, that was creepy. xD

  • Somewhere in GameFAQs, IIRC. Someone who asked for a place to get Broad Whites, I think. =/

  • Yeah, it has Broad Whites, sure, but it was just the first place I thought of. Honestly, I should've looked for a 2 level Windup Box Cloister for that.

That reminds me, I need to update my keyword guides because I forgot to include the fact that Windup Box turns all fields into Boss fields. It's been too long since I used any of those special words. :\

  • Wait, Wish Filefish has a superior version?(I probably didn't notice you mentioned that. ): )

    Does it increase the amount of equipment drops? o= I need to go find the Bike part for it. <.<;

  • Wish Peeler I believe only has better odds of getting the extra equipment drop, it doesn't permit a second extra drop. However, either Filefish or Peeler can do just that if you can get the bike to hit an enemy twice in the same crash; that's easier said than done in Redemption, especially since I forgot the field that let me do this.

Basically it had two Zan Abados facing north/south at the opposite end of a bridge from the starting Platform, which stared right down the middle of said bridge.

  • In Reminisce OTOH, all you have to do is inch up to an enemy at the right speed, and the bike will start this slow spin on impact that lasts for a couple of seconds, giving it enough time to score a second hit.

  • That sounds kind of...... confusing and difficult to do. Hitting a single enemy with the bike twice... o_o

  • Ugh, I just finally got my own 3 Nil Embraces. Lol. Felt like it took forever. x_X

  • That's why I don't think of it as gathering Nil Embrace and Wonder Potion. In fact, I was surprised when Yata ended up with 50 Wonder Potion and I had more than 10 spare Nil Embrace in inventory on my latest run through the forest.

The run was for his sake, but the Wonder Potions just kinda happened because I couldn't stop. I finally gave him an Usurp Jasper+5 (Spirit Grasp x2) afterward and he's finally off the Rosary of Spirit... which I somehow have 45 spares of from trap chests. o_O

  • 45 Spare Rosaries of Spirit? O_o

But even SP Regen 2 is lame. o_O

  • That's why I always threw Rig Geam on top of it. He doesn't really need either, but it helped keep his SP concerns out of my hair longer.

I keep him around because Yata's the only character with both Ap Do and combo Favorites. In the FoP, two combo Favorite characters and Ap Do are quite potent if you plan on staying for a long time. Yata might be one of the game's worst characters, but he does have his niche, and that's what keeps him above Tabby in my personal endgame character rankings.

  • I lobbed him around with me in FoP the first time just for the Lapu Do.

  • Thanks for sharing it :D! I just tried it myself, and it's pretty cool indeed, sorta reminds you to the old .Hack

And it's interesting yet useful how the area limits/borders still work like the battle cage, stopping and bouncing you if you're hit against them. If it wasn't for it, i would be flying for more than just 6 seconds when he used a guard break on me XP lol

  • I really, REALLY need to get a good guard break video too, but I never can seem to remember. Last time I went there, I forgot what I was doing and decided to see if I could reach the stars. At least I made it up high enough to stand on them. :P

  • I just tried see how up i could get, and it was until there was nothing but blue and a dark clone around me that i decided to get hit and fall into a huge rock XD lol

As of the guard break...I tried to see if he could send me flying off the map but the bridge stopped me, and while i was trying on the other side i got too close to the edge and knocked forever XP Doppel has a bad habit to run around you before trying to attack again.

  • XD I just attempted to try this. Though Doppel was being annoying. He kept teleporting to the bottom left corner with the enemies. I screwed up on it though. I ended up getting hit in the air, and Doppel Reaper's Danced into an infinite fall. xD

  • I gotta try this!

  • lol
