I am OK with Diva mom. The "cool school" thing actually doesn't seem to come from a place of snobbery but from a genuine desire to teach her kids to have style and confidence. Farmer mom is this weird combination of subservient and judgmental.
K, I know the diva mom family is vain, but man...I think farmer wife is 10000000x more judgmental and condescending! It's like she thinks she knows better b/c she "used to be the city dweller". I really hope the boy's family did not kill the lamb later. My mom still remembers when her pet cow was killed and eaten. Though when she told the story I thought it was funny at the time but that was before I knew how it felt to lose a beloved pet (I nearly died as a teen when our dog had to be put down due to an incurable disease...felt my heart ripped out...the only difference is that my mom actually had no choice but to eat her pet cow because they didn't tell until after dinner!).

Okay Angie is very flamboyant and initially it might come off as rude or pushy or something, but actually I like her. She's honest, thoughtful, fun, and hard working, and gets down to her kids level by realizing what's important to them at their age. She does spend time with them and I thought it was sweet that she taught them how to dance
AWW - Diva mom's heart is in the right place. She really cares that the farm children have to sacrifice so much. It's heartbreaking about the boy's pet lamb & the daughter's having to miss her prom. Diva mom may be silly somewhat but you can't fault her for having a tender, kind heart. I think her "diva" stuff is just an act - that its there to cover insecurities possibly because no one can have such a soft heart and really be a self-centered diva type.
The farm guy is not sexist - his wife may cook but as the daughter points out he was up at 5:30 in the morning doing labour in the feild. if the Diva swapped work with him and went outside to do the heavy work while he cleaned it would be different.

1. The word "cause" used other than a verb is grammatically incorrect.
2. The statement "get some diet" is grammatically incorrect.
3. Your entire post is one run-on sentence.
4. You don't need two past tense words in one statement. The letters e and d after the word ''spell'' were not required.
