Great band, great song, my uncle who has passed away from this world, loved Iron Butterfly and has passed his love for great classic rock unto me, I am thankful;) R.I.P
This shit really gets going,'' If you can't feel this original rave music then you are misguided by digital tools, If iron butterfly music did not exist it would be necessary to invent by today's standard, Using modest recording equipment even by yesterdays bystanders..A new interworld and age of innocents with no wash your windows sir shine your shoes for you curb standers. They deserve to live to you know? And you are standing right on top of them,''the people before you. Be a tribal polite.
IRON BUTTERFLY sin duda tiene por lo menos 10 exitos , si no hubieran tenido tantas trabas serian mejores qw los deep purple , pero igual son de la puta madre
Fuk the stones compared to Iron butterfly rollinig stones SUCK and deep purple???? Seriously???? They were good for there times but nw they arnd good, plus what aout styx? toto? THE TRUE CLASSIC ROCK HAIL TOTO, STYX IRON BUTTERFLY Etc**
@Cheesecakemilitia2 You don't knowwhat you are talking about,The Rolling Stones are still here making music, where is Iron Butterfly???? Yes they were good but they just didn't have what people wanted,The Stones do.
@Rebelwon People (majority) like commercial music. So the rule is if you sell out you keep going on through decades. Iron Butterfly just didn't do it.
@Rebelwon Rolling Stones are still making lots of money, but no good music. Any song from Iron Butterfly is far superior than some Rolling Stones masterpiece.
LOL! "Flowers and beads" and "Most anything that you want" are considered the cheesier of their songs now. LOL! Still, they are a great band of course (as well as one of the foundational bands of heavy metal). I love "Are you happy" though. Love the transitions. "Termination" & "Mirage also kicked ass. Their first 3 albums were by far the best.
@ugonaeaturcornbread Except this was recorded in 1970 and the song written in 1968. Now if you want the heaviest song from 1967 look up Iron Butterfly Theme....specifically the live version with original guitarist Danny Weis - it is the arguably the earliest heavy metal of all time.
Though not to disparage this, the heaviest recording of the heaviest track on Vida
Awesome ! I.ve always loved Iron Butterfly.

Erik Braunn was such a dynamite player. He is one of my all time favorite guitarists. He is so completely underrated.
