Can anyone please tell if the singer is from Bangladesh? The tabla sounds bangladeshi style to me... But sitar is so well played... I really wonder where this song was recorded.. and who played the sitar...

THE BIGGEST DIVIDER OF HUMANITY IS RELIGION,SO UNTIL THE RELIGION IS COMPLETELY ABOLISHED THERE WOULD BE NO PEACE ON EARTH.
This is the truth.only mollahs and politicians will thrive on ignorance playing the religion card. you may not agree with me but when world will agree ,then you will agree, until then we all will live in conflicts.
lyrics and melody brings the magic of love on earth.his humanism and love caress your heart and make you feel with purity of humanism where insecurity of prejudice and religon have no place. he teaches, how to love another humanbeing without his caste/creed or religion.i have no other words for this sublime feelings.we are fortunate to have such a soul ever came to us! he makes me feel proud as Bengali and also makes me feel guilty of my shortcomings. we love you NAZRUL ,we miss you.
Absolutely fantastic. What a song! Sabiha Mahboob you sang it fabulasly well. You have tha extra umph in your voice. Thank you telapoka for uploading this song. It is one of the best.
DUXGIRL2007 can u say how Tagore became a world literary star of all time, without any formal education?...there is a word ..."genius"...and for your kind information, this is not a philosophical song but an excellent love song(valobasha noy kintu onurag)...after Tagore Nazrul was the last poet of Bengal...after that it is a void..
I have a different perspective to look at it though . I feel when a song or poem or any kind of literary work go reaches human mind & soul without much being told dirctly .. that is philosophical. By the way i am eaged enough to be come wise and respect other peoples' view and perspective. An I respect your view-point though it may not be same as mine.

Can't a love song be philosophical? lot of great scholars in many occasion described Shyma Sangeet, Kirton, Islami songs as philosophical. All songs are basically love songs different kinds. We have to go beyond human love for each other.
sugar ,potatoes, rice and flour are all carbohydrate and gives you energy as glucose ,so whichever form, shape and taste you have eaten ultimately it will break into glucose to give your cell the energy. whatever forms and shapes, the literatures and philosophy are they all originate from love. that's why GOD has been described as energy in hindu philosophy and described as"satyam(truth),shivam(love) and sundaram(beauty)" trios, origin of this energy is "OM"
Well being diabetic my perspective is not so generalised. Some carbs are excellent for me but not the sugar. But they all break into glucose. May be this is why we have different means to reach the same goal.
Its a fantastic song. One of my all time favourites. And Sabiha Mahboob sang it extremely well. Accompanying music is also up to the mood of the song.
