Multiculturalism is an almost racist ideology. It divides populations into separate groups based on archaic notions of cultural inheritance. It is backward thinking. We should be rejecting this bigoted notion of defining people by their ancestors that only promote difference between human beings. Here in America we have a melting pot, NOT multiculturalism--or were supposed to--My family wasn't born here, but we learned the language, abide by it's rules and I, and my family now consider ourselves Americans. The main thing being is that one common culture has to supersede all others as a common glue. Banning the burqa or prayer or wearing crosses in school would never happen in here, it is Statism in the extreme. You need end secularism & bring back Franco-Catholism as that common glue.

@berrylict I guess the mistranslation is because "laique" is hardly know in the english language... It is "secular" the right translation.
