  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • nice - but why the bad music taste?

  • @kuzzekop One mans meat, as they say, is another mans poision!

  • @ghough12 So in other word, "Suck it"~ LOL

  • @kuzzekop I turned it off. Was unable to concentrate on the video while the music (?) was playing. The clip is fine without music.

  • Yunnow, they make adapters for Nikon G lenses (the ones w/o aperture ring)... I wouldn't go jamming stuff in the end of lenses, personally.

Also... get an Olympus and you can use A mode as well as M mode...

  • @sackajapeanuts Thanks for the info, most of my nikon lenses have manual aperture rings only the 75-300 is a g series. the rubber aperture control mod works perfectly for me and the shape prevents falling into lens. the reviews of the four third adaptors with manual control aren't that great with poor engineering. I'll stick with the one i have.

  • Hey I'm thinking of getting the gh1 without the mod is the focus infanate like other adapters?

    Thanks.

  • yest the nikon to micro four thirds adaptor allows the lens to focus to infinity. The aperture modification is onlt there to allow you to preset an aperture on those auto aperture lenses which don't have manual adjustment. It works great. thanks for your comment

  • Okay, but can you put on this adapter and get good depth of field without using the mod? Cause what I'm wanting to do, is where i need shallow depth of field.

  • informative, good idea for the auto lenses

  • The adaptor merely shifts the back focus of a regular dlsr lens to be the same as it would be on its own camera. If you use something like a 50mm lens at f1.8 then you will get a very shallow DOF. The modification to hold the aperture at a fixed position in a non manual lens is needed to push the aperture lever all the way to fully open the lens and obviously give you shallow DOF. Remember the mod is only necessary if you are using the auto lens - in a manual lens you can just dial in the F stop
