@nbatara Thanks, I found it a while back. I would really like to find this "more electric" version. His guitar skills are more pronounced seems like with the Les Paul. The "Unheard" version is really great also, but this one has a little more punch. Both are great though. Thanks again.
Amazing song-writer and great guitar player. Not a combo thats often heard of. Surprisingly I've found that not a lot of people have heard of him till you tell them some of the country covers that nashvillian singers have done of his. One of the greatest and my most favorite artists alive today. Thanks for posting this video
He was really born in London Ky. on a tobacco farm. And as a child his family moved to Gary, Indiana. If you notice in the song he's talking about his grandpa. And yes, his roots are in Harlan. I really don't care where he's from, this guy is amazing.
What an awesome set at the Four Corners Folk Fest in Pagosa Springs Colorado Labor Day weekend. You have a new fan Darrell, what was the song you opened that set with, reminded me of Little Feat. Also liked your version of You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive and Old Joe Clark....

I like the tone on that LP a lot - it's a great live tone.
Darrell really has good taste on how things coming out of the guitar should sound, both in style and in tone.

He's pretty awesome. I'd love see newcomers Isaac Hoskins & the Hellers open for him. That would be one spectacular musical experience.
