  • we got a 3800 with 225k on it stills runs like new

  • That is one TOUGH motor. I've been watching some cash for clunkers videos lately and I've never seen an engine run for 3 1/2min before locking up. I've got a n/a 3800 series 2 v6 w/ 174K miles and still going strong. 3.8s are tough!

  • what the fuck, i would have loved really loved that car. right now im looking at a 87 bonnie but its only an LE. bonnies are awesome that this is a huge waste of a good engine. screw you barrako

  • I've got mine sitting waiting to be fixed 92 possei

  • This video is so sad. That Bonne was clean and these are such great cars....Obama sucks! Waste of a classic automobile.

  • I would have loved to put that engine into my lesabre. too bad its scrap now.

  • Fuck that, I can't even watch the whole thing. Love my Bonneville, love those engines, love Pontiac in general. I'd like to give a stern slap in the dick to whoever the hell turned this into that cash for bullshit. Damn you Obama, thanks for trashing a ton of engines I could have used for parts someday! Ignorant fuck.

  • I am with you! I love my white 1992.....this shit makes me sick....the dick that turned that in sucks.

  • @pontiacmadman

Makes me sick too! Just getting a grey 92 SSEi here in Switzerland with only 44000 kilometers.

  • 3.8 is a sweet motor even with out the supercharger

  • this is just sad. i have a red bonneville same year not supercharged.

  • You can't really put in to words hows sensless this is. The 3800 SC is a fuel efficient and clean burning engine. This program managed to lock up and junk dozens of these great motors specifically, what annoys me is how there are still plenty of absolute piece of crap vehicles on the road like old rusted up pick ups and vehicles that are so out of tune you can't hardly stand to drive behind them the smell of gas is so think. Now THOSE are the vehicles that should be junked.

  • @TheKohler22 agree, Pretty sad really I seen alot of Jeep 4.0's GM 4.3's 5.7s Ford 4.9's with low locked too those motors are good for 300,000+if mantained. The thing I don't get is why this program was started when their are alot of trucks,SUVs still made today that get under 16 MPG. dosn't make sense to me at all.

  • eh i think i no who owned that car intercoastal motors lol

  • what a waist of a ssei

  • Poor little guy just kept chuggin' along. wtf was the government thinking?!? The people who instituted Cash for Clunkers are the SAME ones who insist that Government Healthcare will work better than private healthcare. Yeeeah. We are a country of true idiots if we believe THAT nonsense.

  • is that a buick engine?

  • @sprijic2 yeah the Buick 3800 S/C.

  • whaqt fuck tard would turn in a 3.8 the best motor GM ever built for cars

  • This makes me sad I'm glad I still have my 1996 SSEI it has the same wheels as this one but its black on black and it still looks new I'm going to keep it for as long as I can.

  • I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT YOU MORONS KILLED A RARE CAR! THERE WAS ONLY 12,000 made from 92-95 that were supercharged! U MORONS! They r the best cars on the face of the earth!

  • they still make supercharged 3800's wtf?

  • The Bonnevilles from this era are the cars that had it all: style, comfort, performance, value, and character! I would have saved every one of these supercharged bonnevilles if I had the funds and space. Well, I guess this program just cut down the pickin on my endless search to find a decent 92-95 SSE.

  • @TheKohler22 Buy mine I'm leaving for bootcamp

  • Poor

    Old

    Nigga

    Thinks

    I'ts

    A

    Cadillac

  • one of the BEST engines in american history.... Rest in peace!

  • It held out for 3 1/2 minutes, longer than many cars. I drive a Bonneville, the're good cars. Only the supercharged versions were eligible. This program helped sell a lot more new efficient and safer vehicles, not to mention it kept several plants up and running and since the program ended, auto sales have continued to rise.

  • thats just wrong

  • rest in peace good bonn

  • "Barack Obama: Disassembling America, One Asset at a Time."

  • Wasn't enough Fascism in America before Barack came along. Now Michelle's finally proud of our country...

  • Sad.

  • Never mind i see its required to kill the engines off with sodium silicate.... :\ r i p bonny

  • WHY THE FUCK BRO! Thats plain wrong and evil poor bonneville you killed it you should have let it R I P and let her get crushed as a whole not crippled lol xD

  • it's hard enough Pontiac is gone in 2010 but spare the car.

  • What a waste... same idiotic thing here in germany.
