  • ... I miss Eddie Murphy. :(

  • @5huffl3k1ng He's still alive.

  • @PreviewDude52797 i know but he aint in many movies anymore.

  • @5huffl3k1ng Well, he is in the new movie Tower Heist which comes out tomorrow.

  • i just watched the movie and i wanted to find them on youtube

  • Best part of the movie XD

  • Ladies and gentlemen, I give you - the Dapper Dans!

  • Thumbs up if you realized that one of the busts is Walt Disney XD

  • @2TSSSYoutubification It's actually Thurl Ravenscroft

  • wats the first song

  • I LOVE THIS! X'D

Ahh this movie is still one of my favorites...Even if it's more than 5 years old lmbo :)

  • EXTREMELY catchy, I love those statues!

  • This movie is awesome :D

  • The heads never talk. They always sing. That makes it more funny. :D :D

  • oh my god, these guys are my favorite in this movie.

  • Thumbs up if you sang along with them!!!

  • @Dalboys2k10 not only that, but I laughed my ass off!!!! XD

  • I want to hear this song in its entirety by these same singers, completely uninterrupted.

  • is that 2nd ghost on the left supposed to be Rutherford B Hayes?

  • 1:03 is that walt disney?

  • sweet

  • @SashutuTheWolf: No. It's still Thurl. Walt died and was cremated before final completion on the Mansion was completed.

  • Absolutely amazing!!

  • Dad there it iiiiiisssssss!!!!!'

  • @musicninja2884 dad there it iiiiiisssssss!!!!!!!!!!

  • I like how they kept the busts at the end; why leave them there 2 get lonely?

if i kept them, though, I'd recraft them to look like members of KISS (the original ones) and have them sing nothing but KISS songs.

  • @WeirdAl45231: BUT the Mansion is SUPPOSED TO BE cursed FOREVER. That's the whole point of the attraction, since it was meant as a haven for all restless spirits. Taking the Mme. Leota (yet leaving daughter, Little Leota, what a crock) & Busts out of the Mansion RUINS it. Same goes for making the film CAMPY, when the Mansion is supposed be funny yet SCARY, as per the divergent story ideas about the Mansion following Walt's own death.

  • @SashutuTheWolf is not walt disney, is thurl ravenscroft(tony the tiger voice): the broken bust in the ride

  • I love this part of the movie!!! :D

  • LOL!! Dad there iiiiiittttt iiiiiiiiiiiiisssssss XD

  • your harmony's tight XD

  • by far they were the best actors in the film

  • Dad there it iiisssssss!

  • I LOVE THEM!!8D

  • did any1 else notice that the head on the far right is walt disney himself hahaha

  • @SashutuTheWolf NO- and begin to harmonize

  • i wish they sold these in the stores would be cool

  • :56 sounds like a game show theme song lol...:)

  • 00;56

  • Best scene ever of the non shutting up busts! XD! LOL!

  • i remember when I first saw this movie this part made me laugh so hard i started crying...

  • This reminds me of a Veterinarians Hospital sketch from the Muppet Show where the patient is a singing Weather Man.

  • HAHAHA!!!!!!!!!! These guys shall be immortalised in my mind!!! The only way this could be any better is if they bring in penguins!!!

  • xaxaxaxa......really funny!!!! lol

  • love it :)

  • omg I love them!

  • Thumbs up those who abused the Replay Button cause of this video

  • I don't know why, but I can never get enough of this

  • If those busts were real and had an album, I WOULD BUY IT!

  • @FuryGuts: They do. Though Thurl & others are the originals in the actual attraction, the movie versions were done by quartet, the Dapper Dans, who DO do albums.

  • Its awesome that they modeled one after Walt Disney! This is really addicting haha

  • I laughed so hard at: "Dad there is is!" xD

  • The wierd thing is....i loved this part!!! :)

  • this movie sucked! i can't wait for the new del toro one!

  • COOL!!!!! ♥♥♥ love this <3

  • thumbs up if you agree that this is the funniest part of the movie!

  • i know every word that they sing:D love this part!!

  • Man, I've been watching this over and over again. It's quite addictive haha

  • Is it me or the head on the far right kinda looks like Walt Disney? : /

  • @Japaneseshibainu one of them i think was modeled after walt

  • @Japaneseshibainu i think it is

  • LOL Funny! Like these tombstones singing the songs, when Jim is trying to tell them what he's looking for.

  • its Chester Arthur, Benjamin Harrison,Grover Cleveland and Thurl Ravenscroft as the Singing busts

  • LOVE THIS ~ thank you bby for adding the song names ~

    =D

  • Last one is the best:d daaad there it iiiiiis

  • Thumbs up if you want them in your garden/yard

  • I LOVE THOSE FOUR!

  • She'll be comin' round the mountain when she comes! :P

  • the song at 0:44 is the best

  • I totally loved how they did this part- best part of the movie. :D

  • 1:02 Walt Disney

  • @Relesy LOL you wished.

  • @Ruttie2 Sure looks like him.

  • @Relesy True, but it's Thurl Ravenscroft.

  • In my opinion, this was the only part of the movie that was watchable. Good vocal harmonies, ya can't go wrong.

  • dude that has to be the best part of the entier film

  • hahah my fave part in the whole film heh

  • @Davey647 agreed...however, this is pretty damn good.

  • the only part of the movie worth watching...

  • TY!!!!!! >< trying to find this for years

i just luv this lil part of that movie =p watch it over and over and over

  • Now this, is eye watering harmony, Like onions to me!

  • Anyone find it suspicious that they stopped singing "By The Light of the Silvery Moon" right before they were going to say "I'd like to spoon."?

  • @crazo3077 Yeah. BTW, it's i want to....

  • @crazo3077 What do you think?

  • "you left your key in the mausoleum down in in Dixie. dad there it is" I quote the awesome-ness

  • these guys r realy funny i love them they r my fave

  • The one on the far right is supposed to be a cariacture of Walt Disney, ain't it?

  • @TB4000 Nope. That's actually supposed to be Thurl Ravenscroft. He was part of The Mellomen, who were a babershop quartet that frequently performed at Disneyland. He also did voices for a number of Disney characters, shorts and rides, and appears as one of the singing busts in the Haunted Mansion ride. However, he's most famous for being the original voice of Tony the Tiger.

  • "She'll be..." Comin' round the mountain when she comes!'. He walked right into that one!

  • Probably the only good part of the movie.

  • with those directions they give, i hope the dont work for any GPS System company.

  • this is the only reason i end up watching the movie from the start, after that...it gets dull as living in the mansion in its current state

  • god. this is funny

  • they should have kept the original grinn ghost song and it would been better. and then try to sound like them.

  • Busts or not, these four have a great blend and harmony which is the most important part. at the beginning of grim grinning ghosts, i like the creativity of the acapella when they all started to singing the beat it gave it kind of that "human touch" so to speak

  • besttttt

  • I learned something from this scene of the movie. Never trust a group of singing heads who don't even want to talk normally.

  • Too bad they aren't any full versions of these songs on the soundtrack--I would love to have the full versions by this quartet.

  • On the Haunted Mansion ride, the busts were performed by Thurl Ravenscroft as Uncle Teodore (bass soloist), Jay Meyer as Ned Nub, Verne Rowe as Rollo Rumkin, Bob Ebright as Phineas Pock, and Chuck Schroeder as Cousin Al.

In The Haunted Mansion film, the busts were performed by The Dapper Dans, who perform on Main Street, U.S.A in Disneyland on occasion. In this film, the Dapper Dans consisted of Shelby Grimm, Harry J. Campbell, William T. Lewis, Tim Reeder, and Bob Hartley.

  • Anyone care to tell me what their voice placement is? (Bass, Baritone, Tenor...)

  • @dogman15 you mean which voice is who?

  • @Ruttie2: Yeah, if you know it. I'd like to match the voice parts of the original Graveyard Quintet with the quartet parts from the film.

  • @dogman15 from the left to the right:

Tenor, baritone, lead and bass :)

  • @Ruttie2 -

The Good News: I believe you, and thank you for telling me what voice each head sings.

The Bad News: No one has yet matched up the heads to the Dapper Dans names that I posted. Of those Dapper Dans members, do we know what part each man sings? (Shelby Grimm, Harry J. Campbell, William T. Lewis, Tim Reeder, and Bob Hartley.) And if there's four busts in the film, why were five men credited on IMDb?

  • @dogman15 No, that was an arranger.

They were the most famous dapper dans

and have been together for more than 10 years.

Ofcourse, these guys are too ol' by now..

Although, the bass singer still does it..

    I think..

  • i reenacted this scene with my friends for halloween last year. ^^

  • This is easily the best part of the entire film.

  • @kman9800 It was the only good part the rest was boring to me.

  • One of the busts is Thurl Ravenscroft, who is also a bust in the ride;another is Paul Frees, the voice of the Ghost Host.

Originally, the other two were to be Marc Davis, one of HM's original designers, and Blaine Gibson, contributing sculptor to HM,as well as many Disney attractions.

    Why they weren't used,I don't know.

  • thumbs up if you want to be the care taker of the haunted mansion.

  • @TheSupermario9991 Nah, i wanna be

the caretaker of the SINGING BUSTS!!!

  • @Ruttie2 sitting there day n night =p camping in a tent

  • @TheSupermario9991 i agree and i think you go thumbs up

  • @TheSupermario9991 The hell with the mansion, I want those heads.

  • love this part of the movie

  • Did you know the bust on the far right was designed to look like Walt Disney.

  • I heard this movie was crap, but this scene seems funny enough. :)

  • The four busts are lovely!

  • Lolz, I finished the rewrite of By the Beautiful Sea.

  • thumbs up if you would want to be the next caretaker of the haunted mansion

  • i love dad there it is!!!

  • How do I get the audio from the grim grinning ghosts in the movie?

  • @MrWARIOBARTOKPARCOXD It already is lolz.

  • people, the bust oare the dapper dans, ( well, at lesast the voices are...)

  • why did they have to stop sing grim grinnin ghosts?!?!?! all the other songs sound dumb and they act to giddy.

  • @canadianbaconbro Listen to the whole song

in ''Haunted mansion-haunted hits'' you can then

    listen to the full record.

  • @Ruttie2 sweet! thanks

  • @canadianbaconbro No prob, i love the singing busts.

I don't know what it is. But i listen to the song for over

1 and a half years now. The Dapper Dans are good :)

  • This movie SUCKED, its a disgrace to the Haunted Mansion franchise.. Thank god that Guillermo Del Toro is rebooting the franchise

  • @thedragoonknight Yeah, hopefully this

guy doesn't let us down. This was a big

fail. Except for this scene, and the effects

and mansion architexture. You gotta admit

that that was quite good. The only thing that

sucked were the actors, plot, And the ''comedy''

make-over. They truly fucked that up.

  • @thedragoonknight I didn't know that!! Sounds awesome. If they ever would make another HM movie, I think they should base the story on the Phantom Manor one. I'm glad I live in Europe so I could ride that attraction. It's scarier than the ones in America in my opinion.

  • DAD, THERE IT IS!!!!!!!!!! DAD, THERE IT ISSSSSSSSSS! LOL!

  • he completely walked into shell be coming round the mountain : ) lol

  • This is like the only good part of the movie

  • rule #1 of being the haunted mansion: don't listen 2 the singing busts, 'cuz singing's pretty much all they can do!

  • I just love this part of the movie. I'm always humming this tune grim grinning ghost.

  • 1:02 -1:04 it's Walt Disney

  • @youpizza08 Ehehehehe..... No.

  • It's a real shame. They had everything to make a cool movie version and blew it. The Haunted Mansion ride is better than "Pirates"

  • @bgdjohnny8

They could have rocked it, but blew it. Rob Minkoff is a terrible director.

  • @ccipollini1984 What did you expect?

A terrible horror!? Of course not! Remember,

it's DISNEY. They're not really known for

    their terror.

  • @ccipollini1984

yes but some EFFORT woulden't have hurt.

Pirates had some scary moments and it wasnen't over the top. Had Pirates not come out, I think HM would have had a better chance. But POTC did so well anything coming afterwards based on a ride would be immeadiatley scrutinized.

  • Best part ever XD XD

  • Very annoying. This is prob why we don't really stop to ask for directions.

  • Thank you so much for uploading this part

  • i absolutlely loved this movie, why do a lot of people think it sucks? i'm not trying to be rude, I just want the opinion of someone who doesnt like the movie

  • Though this could have been an great movie, and it's not without charm, I was heavily disappointed in it.

  • are them the Kings singers???

  • @tirnanog80 Nnnnnnope, the Dapper Dans!

  • LOL "She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes!" I love these guys

  • this is my favorite scene out of the whole movie.

  • love this part :D

  • this movie used to scare me, but now i luv it. this is ma favorite scene it's funny XD

  • one of my favorite scenes from the haunted mansion :)

  • I know this is REALLY silly, but I LOVE the Dapper Dans! And when I saw the movie yesterday (i've seen it before, but I hadn't seen it in a while) I saw the credits at the end of the movie and it said that the singing statues were the Dapper Dans! I LITTERALLY screamed in excitment! lol

  • to all you people who don't know those were the actual barbershop quartet from disneyland now what i don't know is if they are the one from main street usa or from new orleans square

  • They're the Main Street Dapper Dans. :D

  • Not only but, it's ok..

  • Yeah but they stopped singing after 2006. You see they've been there for a while, so they stopped. Accept the bass, he's still in other groups

  • who ever the voice actors were, they should consider being an actual barber shop quartet. :)

  • i have beensearching for it thanks magicintom! thank you.

  • The busts and the other ghosts (sans leota, gracey and the two servants...bah!) were the only good thing about this movie, aside from the score and the set design. The rest of it can go to hell, though. ^_~

  • I love this haha

  • I thought they could do better with the movie.

  • man, when I first heard them faintly singing, a massive smile spread across my face, major fan of the ride, so it was a killer moment for me.
