@fcpictures There is fucking original music everywhere right now. Dig deeper, if you care you'll find them. There are some really revolutionary bands now. Only that music like this was mainstream before. And now all the creative music is less available. But, extreme metal, has some of the most creative music nowadays. Meshuggah, for example. No one does what they do, really. I can name quite a bunch bands now, but I can't be arsed. I get mad at comments like this: "MUSIC WAS BETTUR BEFOR"

pink floyd was one of my favorite dance and soft rock bands. Shine on your Crazy Diamond especially set the romantic tone for those long-lasting relationships. I would have Floyd 8-tracks stacked on top of fleetwood mac and the pointer sisters. And I'm certainly not making this up.

Meddle is without a doubt my favorite Pink Floyd album. All the songs are good or great (even "Seamus" has its own charm). Honestly though, if the album only contained "Echoes", I would still buy it. That song is the most incredible piece of music I've ever heard.

Meddle is the greatest Pink album of all time. It's a shame that the corporate piece of crap radio stations don't play any of it anymore. It is the album that put them on the mainstream map. The first time the motor cycle gang that lived next door to me let me come over in 1973, I was 13 years old and they were getting high to this album. Man they were cool, I worshipped those guys. I had never been exposed to this kind of music. It blew me away!

Ok as one PF fan to another, I apologize. But it was albums like Meddle that set pink floyd off to make experimental music and concequently be the building blocks of their. By the way, dark side of the moon was about the hollowness of what a rock star feels and the Wall was about his disconnection with his fans. The wall was a masterpiece operatic rock act. IWYWH was another great one tributed to Syd (mostly). Of course ANIMALs was superb W epical songs like the DOG and the SHEEP.
