  • What a buffoon Ross is!!

  • "they want to be equal but they also want them to top them". what a load of crap.

  • @dimitrovajunkie I will check my Fowler on the "something of the + adhjective" ...

En tout cas, permettez moi de vous remercier de votre gentilesse car mon anglais pourrait sembler archaïque parfois.

  • Aww Eileen! She's so cool :')

  • Could we have the Colin Farell story?? I'm DYING to hear it from her!

  • If YOUR going ter teach me grammar and all ... I'm all ears ....

  • @IrishandJazz Not sure what the objection to your original post was. "There's something uncouth" not "of the uncouth" would probably be more commonly encountered, but I do believe using a prepositional phrase in place of a simple adjective works fine, at least to my ears. Language is flexible, not frozen. btw, the original post itself has an error: "if your going to denounce..." should be "if you're going" -- a contraction of you are not the second person possessive.

  • There's something of the uncouth about that man.

  • very funny show

  • I saw this in the West End in mid-August - it's HILARIOUS! Atkins is brilliant but Sophie Thompson is just so incredibly funny. Brilliantly written. I love it love it. want to see it again.

  • @TSLondon Did you actually think about the message of the play though? I find it problematic. The author decides to kill the only free- thinker in the room. Sad really. Not funny at all.
