@IrishandJazz Not sure what the objection to your original post was. "There's something uncouth" not "of the uncouth" would probably be more commonly encountered, but I do believe using a prepositional phrase in place of a simple adjective works fine, at least to my ears. Language is flexible, not frozen. btw, the original post itself has an error: "if your going to denounce..." should be "if you're going" -- a contraction of you are not the second person possessive.
I saw this in the West End in mid-August - it's HILARIOUS! Atkins is brilliant but Sophie Thompson is just so incredibly funny. Brilliantly written. I love it love it. want to see it again.
@TSLondon Did you actually think about the message of the play though? I find it problematic. The author decides to kill the only free- thinker in the room. Sad really. Not funny at all.
