Just posting this here cause tassimo wouldn't let me post it on their site. I ordered a caramel cappuccino and got plain cappuccino. Just a heads up. Oh and their customer service was atrocious.

If you hold the button (to fill the cup) you're only going to get a watery drink. The t-disk knows how much it can make and will stop once all the flavor has been extracted.

Many t discs have more than just coffee or tea, lots of them have boatloads of known cancer causing petroleum based chemicals and other artificial cancer causing ingredients. I'd highly recommend avoiding those t-discs at all cost as they are a serious chronic disease like cancer waiting to happen. Better yet, get a super automatic machine, they cost a bit more upfront, but by using whole coffee beans the cost per cup is 10-15 cents instead of 40-80 cents, they pay for themselves in 4-12 months.

The Tassimo machines are good, the coffee tastes great, but the supply of the discs to stores is useless.

I bought my dad one for his birthday a couple of years ago, and trying to get hold of the drinks in supermarkets is pointless. If you order online delivery takes ages too, I wish I'd gone with something else.

He ended up complaining to someone @ Kraft who admitted they'd f*cked things up in the UK with regards to supply and sent a big box of free discs.

@skimyy More like a glorified espresso machine for the espresso machine challenged. Difference = steam and pressure instead of dripping of hot water (coffee machine) Result = more flavour captured from coffee making a stronger coffee = espresso

@DegrassiGirl4 The tassimo reads the barcode on the disk to determine heat, pressure, brew time, and amount of water but I mean if you bought ordinary coffee and put it in an ordinary coffee disk, it might work.

mine's a stainless steel version of it with an lcd display and lights near the nozzle. don't really know the model.

you may use the disc again. i've done it once but I find it useless since it doesn't have any of the contents anymore. tastes like"watered-coffee' of some sort.

I like everything about my tassimo, but I find the lcd display on mine a bit inaccurate. depends on the cup anyway. oh yeah, the lights gave it flair.

I've got my red bosch tassimo! It is sooo cool! But, does anyone know where to order more descaler? Haven't used the free sample yet but just incase! I live in Scotland so it shouldn't be too much a problem cause we have soft water :D

I don't have a Tassimo yet but I'm getting the RED BOSCH Newest one (I think thats it ^ ?) But my friend has a Braun one and we had some hot chocolate which was milka so yes it is hot chocolate! Quite nice actually! But I have to say that I MUCH Prefer 'Suchard' Hot Chocolate because it doesn't taste like its got fake milk in it, but my friend prefered the milka one, so you should by them both and try and see which one you like better! =D

No it doesnt that is were the senseo falls down it is just a coffe machine although you can buy chocolate pods of the net.

I got rid of my senseo and have now bought the dolce gusto awesome machine lots of drinks to choose from and comes with lots of added extras such as a cappucino cup and saucer,latte glass and a pack of pods plus more free pods via coupon and bonus points.

Is your water reservoir lid loose - no seal? I just bought one and wasn't sure if this one was too loose - the box had one of the corners ripped, so wondered if it was returned or damaged at all.

There isn't a seal as such on the water tank cover, it is a snug fit though.
