  • is the whistle on that train louder than the one on the former LIRR/SIRT Alco 407.

    rank the horns on each CMRR train from quietest to loudest.

  • @Spaceshotx7 29 may possibly be the quietest, #1, the Duck, is probably second... Then Loudest is a tie between 401 and 407, since I've yet to hear anyone lay one 401's horn yet, being in the middle of Kingston and all.
