Totally. The sad thing that they don't show here is that most of the kids that start at 5 don't ever become state champs. For every 5 year old that becomes a champ there's 10 (at least) that don't and their families end up dysfunctional because the kids burn out and the parents can't figure out why. I see it all the time coaching HS. It's a difference between being supportive and being abusive.

Contrary to what the one guy says, Iowa is NOT the "number 1 state for wrstling at all levels". If you look at the FACTS, Pennsylvania and Ohio absolutely dominate overall in the country. If you dont believe me, check the NCAA rosters yourself. Wrestlers from PA and OH outnumber other states, and many at the top are from PA and OH.
