couldn't you drastically reduce the amount of routing & re-recording by just doing Audio Menu > Plugins > Compressor to process-edit the compressor preset onto the audio instead?

@deadwhenifoundher what you say is true, but when we tried it, and it didnt sound as good as recording it to an audio track (3 times :) ). since the monologue doesnt have sine waveform, we have to manipulate the resonance to create it. synths that have sine waveform give you enough volume that compressor is not necessary at all, such as massive for example.
