  • like the flair of those old 2d games

  • This one is a master peace and wow, wow....

  • Amazing clip.

  • so even though we only gained a medium amount of things from the treaty it set the stage that gave us a vast amount of things. in fact the war of 1812 (although not a victory per se) set the stage and tone of america. started the american spirit and on top of that in the long run we wound up with a whole hell of a lot of land. so the british cant claim victory if they gained nothing, we gained a lot, gained so much, and wound up with not 1 not 2 but 3 cessions from the british at some point.

  • your facts are far off. 1. america did stop impressment. 2. it enforced the treaty by kicking the british out of the forts they said they would leave from. 3. britain DIDNT recognize america as a nation and finally did with this war as in they official or not they never regarded it as a nation. this war solved that. this war also set the state by saying the united states would go to war with anyone, hence we wound up with oregon (by compromise) northern maine and the red river basin britain lost

  • Your mother is a guerilla.

  • the british hought they would win but america has somthing calles GUERILLA WARFARE MOTHER FUCKERS

  • @mw2chap123 hahaha

  • @mw2chap123 and the Brits sent their worst trained soldiers over since they were in a raging war with frace as well :P

  • The Patriot soundtrack

  • Is that Mel Gibson I see?

  • bersides vietnam we won every war. our point in the war of 1812 was to enforce the treaty of paris, which ended the revolutionary war, and to stop impressment of sailors, so we went to war. yes DC was burned, but we burned the canadian parliament building. (also the vast majority of americans didnt want to occupy ontario thats just were the war happened to be fought). all of our objectives were accomplished. and it defined the united states and was probably one of the best thing weve ever done.

  • @grovurover

Sure America didn't LOSE the war of 1812, but they didn't win it either. By the time the war started, Britain accepted America as a new nation and there was no real need for "enforcing the treaty of paris" since Britain is not looking to re-colonize America.

Also, America didn't really get anything out of the war since Great Britain couldn't guarantee the stop of impressment of soldiers. The war just ended as Status quo ante bellum so it would be considered a tie.

  • @StoolCoiler i would be glad to explain to you why your wrong. just respond to this if you want a youtube message or something. all of your "facts" are off to a very large extent.

  • @grovurover

American gained very little from the war and suffered far worse. The war had a negative impact on its economy and caused political strife. And of course, they lost a great number of men and failed to stop future impressment of soldiers during the Napoleonic wars. Tell me, what did the Americans gain from the Treaty of Ghent? As far as I'm concerned, neither America or Britain won the war.

Also, this is a debatable question so I can't be "incorrect", its all about opinion.

  • dude this video is totaly epic, i have the game to, both of them

  • The French didnt make no difference in the Revolutionary War of America. America was alone the whole time. Not only did we have the British attacking from the North and South but also Indians were raiding our towns from the West.. We overcame overwhelming odds to win. The French arrived within the last month of the war only to blockade the port at Yorktown and that was there only part. We even had german troops fighting against us. You say USA is weak, i say show me a major war that we didnt win

  • @chucktowne war against obese people

  • @chucktowne The French was helping us the whole war. French officers were helping us before French became an ally. They changed the war. We could of very likely lost the war without their help,

Germans might of been at Trenton but they also helped us along with Prussians such as Baron von Steuben training our troops

  • @chucktowne Vietnam

  • @chucktowne Seriously? We lost in Vietnam. We also lost the Seminole Wars I, II and III. We lost in the Red Clouds War, AND we lost the war of 1812 to Canada and Britain.

Also, France was a major part in why we WON the Revolutionary War. They were assisting us in various ways from the start.

  • @chucktowne lol mate u need to get your facts right. The French helped ya to win the war. Everyone know's it apart from you. This could either mean your slow or retarted, or a bit of both. Also like the people below me have said. You lost many wars. The only war you seem to win by your selves was when your fighting your self in the civil war. Also if you want to point out who came into a war a bit late. Try America,WW1 you join in 1917 and only lost 100,000 men compared tomillions(other nations)

  • @chucktowne The British were more focused on the Second Boer War at the time of the independance war. That's why we lost

  • @ArchossWigmore yeah but we still got pwned by a bunch of poorly trained blokes. Oh well, at least we're allies now.

  • @chucktowne I do not belive a single person from India steped foot in the Americas with the sole purpose of raiding American towns during the war. But i know what you meant you meant the first nations people which shows me your like 5 because you learn their politically correct name in like grade three. Stop being a racist prick.

  • @khead99 Don't be an ass, lots of people, including the natives themselves, use the word "Indian". Just because you find it racist doesn't mean it is.

  • I personally say that if the United States had helped out earlier in the first world war. France's defeat in world war 2 would have never happened.

  • It is a fact - The victory was a French one. dosnt matter who thay are or whatever.. its just the truth. The US would still British if it were not for the french, Yes the french there reason for helping!

  • @MrGrafted Yes you are right. The French has come ineed of help in wars. I am saying that the Americans couldn't won without the French but in other cases they are sometimes weak. In WWII French had a good fight with the Germans but they failed. (some were still fighting but not many) Oh so cruel the Germans were ,but thats a diffrent story.

  • @MrGrafted actually thats not entirely true although the french surely helped and were very much needed they did not arrive until after the major turning point of the war in which the continentals had pushed Cornwallis back to Yorktown. Only then did the french arrive and then help beseige the town and destroy the british fleet etc. etc. but even before then Cornwallis was trapped in Yorktown and the only way out was to leave on his ships which he didnt want to do because it would be his defeat

  • Good job UberDigitalTyler... Nice but needs more americans

  • Um were the French fries...i'm mean the French(no offence) The french stop the Bristish from getting more troops and help the Americans with there ships to transport goods and Etc. Americans weren't that trained they had a lot a mili and Some continentals. George Washington help them, Trained them has hard as he can but he did not push them. They were losing volunteers (because of funding money) Washington Said some stuff (good grief i could fit it here) and they work longer and ETC sorry

  • It was a French victory, Not American. The Americans wouldnt of stood a chance really.

Something to thank the French for.

  • USA + France + Spain vs GB. Americans take all credit.

  • @MrGrafted I'm sorry, but the French are a bit of cowards.(sorry) They are likey to join the winning side sometimes there not and you know what.

  • @nickshipnate The French were a super power of the day, more powerfull than most conties on the planet, Make sure you get an understanding of correct history (no offence). facts are facts. You saying the french are cowards on what reason? There long history is something to be aware of. Thay have done alot more than the US have ever done. The only real fact if you know history, is that thay along with other nations around the world toke part to bring victory for inderpendence.

  • @nickshipnate Actually, I'm sorry, I'm American, but I think Americans are just as cowardly sometimes as the French choosing winning sides and only helping when it's in their own interest and/or somehow either directly or indirectly benefits them.

  • 0:55 what r u guys doing get back in formation!!!!!

  • nice one ^^

  • you dont get it do u? its a reinactment

  • i would have flanked at the begining and won

  • ive got a waterloo map on mine its awsome haha

  • Probably should have had an ocean between the Americans and the Brits.

  • what age was it?

  • looks like... enlightenment?

  • uh I dont know what scrip your reading from but the colonials did not where blue. That was a later union cooler. nor did the colonials stand in regiments when they could avoid it

  • Colonists didn't stand in regiments. +1 They used guerilla tactics.

However, colonists did wear blue. Of course, the Continental Army and Militias could not afford to outfit everybody with a blue uniform, but that was the standard uniform color.

  • yeah maybe if they where above captin the would where bule. BTW there was not much of an "army" for the first few years

  • True.

  • in major battles they did line up like idiots, only the militia faught in guerilla tactics, and even tho the contenetal army was poor, the soldiers made their own blue uniforms

  • Hogwash! Colonists of every stripe marched and fought according to Manuals of Arms (Norfolk, '64, or Von Steuben). They marched & stood in neat ranks.

Yes you are right about affording coats, but very little uniform for early war national army (1775-1777) and none for militia at any time.

Even then coat color was according to the state of origin through mid-war (1777-'79) until standards of brown & blue coats were established for Continental Regs only.

  • @drfoxcourt You seem to be much more educated on the subject than me.

Yeah, they did form up ranks. But when it suited them to, the colonists would use guerilla tactics.

You yourself said that they wore blue, just not in till the tail end of the war.

  • @JBBJGWC militia used guerilla tatics regulars did but rarely, on the field of battle every one was in ranks

  • @bbathtub101 yeah Minute men did but the Contental Troops faught in Fromation

  • I always wonder about this game. Each time I play and win a game in this its more often than not out of sheer force of numerical strength involving little tactical skill. I get compelled to think that battles here are a matter of numbers. Do you find the same ? I mean the reds outnumbered here.

  • I've only played this game a couple times, but I can see how that happens. It's the same with Age of empires 3. Of all the RTS I've played (I haven't played them all) AOE2 has just about the best battle tactics.

  • Actually, I must disagree. Sure, a dramatic difference in numbers when concerning a military situation can indeed ensure a winner, however you must consider this. for one, various units excel against other. Heavy infantry are good vs heavy and light cavalry, archers are good against heavy infantry and cavalry are good against archers. So, you have to take into account the various compensations you have to use. And flanking really works. If you can lure troops to defend one location, you can...

  • 5-stars excellent but next time turn off the silly adventure music...and just have the musket and cannon fire...pure battle sounds only!/milwaukee

  • LOL BAMBI

  • how did u do this

  • My favorite part was when it ended

  • can you get this game for FREE!!!!!!!

  • No.

  • Yes with torrents.

  • warez````````.```````org

  • what level is this

  • Which Revolution, American or French?

  • well he said it included redcoats so im guessing the American

  • what rise of nation is this? normal one or expansion pack?

  • good game

  • lol i never get borred on this game!

  • I like the music playing in the background lol. Its from the Patriot right?

  • enlightment age american marine transports, and then british musketeers

  • what bullshit...

  • Lol...and the only reason Britain is still around is because of America's intervention in WWII...oh the irony :)

  • No the only reason France and Belgium are still around is because of the USA's intervention. Britain AND America helped liberate it.

  • thats true we helped em out jus a lil bit haha wonder y? lol

  • Bigger irony was the alliance between British Empire and France during the first World War. Both countries had a share of conflicts between them that last even for centuries.

  • what unites did u use for this?

  • i mean units. what units were used for this

  • you have to make them "hold the line" that it is more organised

  • rise of nations

  • wat game is this??

  • Rise Of Nations

  • Rise of nations! An excellent game! You should get it for PC

  • the brits completley had that one. the yanks were pretty weak in that battle

  • Confederacy? This is the revolutionary war, not the american civil war.

  • Looks like the confederacy is winning if you ask me :P

  • Thats pretty damn cool. I always try to make my battles like this all organized but i get bored and they end up being shitty. lol
