  • I had a 351c with nos that went in the low 11's

  • gonna get me a 351 1971 torino here pretty soon

  • I might even add: "Hey! Hey! Ridin with the Drivah!"

  • Ford Power + Motorhead = My Approval

  • FORD POWER!!

  • My Dad had one of Those.

  • I Love those BIG Block FORDS

  • Ford 385 series can be bored and stroked to 552 cubic inches using stock block, stock crank, stock rods, good for 700 +horse power....Sorry chevy guys . Cant say the same is true. Chevy big blocks can only be bored and stroked to 468,..oh plus you have to change the crank to aftermarket steel one if you want to go past 500hp....Better get busy and find a good 460 ,there still around but i think the cats out of the bag.

  • @xlgal68 lucky for me i got about 4 of em haha

  • dude wicked Torino... right now my 71 has a mostly stock (step up cam) 70 year model 351 cleveland with a 4:11 ford 9 inch rear end and a c-6 tranny. One day I have plans to build it up with a year correct 71 model 429 I have in my garage. Hoping to give it about 500 hp at the wheels. burnout video on my page..just type in "smokin burnout". Nice Torino man..

  • Almost all of the old American big blocks are excellent. For me, adding newer technology to a 501 Cadillac has awakened a sleeping giant. Extremely fast, extremely good gas mileage, very low maintenance, and very quiet. Ford, Chrysler, GM all made engineering masterpieces that can be updated to last 500 years. I want the 1969 Torino Talladega (maroon) which I WILL GET if I should live long enough.

  • me imagino que es un torino mas o menos standard... por que si un v8 muy preparado hace 11 segundo me quedo con los autos 4 cilindros muy preparados que hacen menos tiempo en el 1/4 de milla

  • (nice torino) love the way the nova got a leap on the torino and still lost !

  • @multifordracing brackets

  • how much horse does this torino have?

  • a mid sized ford

  • Possibly one of the most underrated cars and engines made.

  • fuel injection is nice... but i'd rather be blown!

  • lovin the torque off the start :p

  • Ford big blocks are the best.

i dont care what any ricer does to his pos civic to make it go "fast", there is no substitute for cubic inches.

  • No replacement for displacement.

  • definitely. you should check out a mustang on here.

its got a tank engine in it, 1100 cubic inch Ford V8 from a WW2 sherman. 1300 ft pounds of torque and 950 hp naturally aspirated.

  • @xsonz2 You must have known Vernon "Pete" Hall for those were his favorite words and guess what, he was a master engine builder. Trust and believe.

  • I dig your comment about BBFs and have a 71 Torino and a 9 sec 427 Mustang...but no Big Block Chevys are the best...Ive built many BBFs and they have serious oiling issues.

  • Oh, one more thing....Greg is a badass and makes that thing work.

Mine is yellow also...Keep it up buddy!!!

  • Gotta love ford!!!!

  • very bad ass i have a 1971 torino 500 but not working but when i get a job my baby will have alot of stuff including the cobra jets lol

  • Have two 429's and they have a ton of low and mid range power and then just continue making power. Awesome engine!!

  • Yea, they're great engines until you go fill up the gas tank... lol

  • hell yeh man!

  • B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-A-A-A-A-D

    ASS!

  • that was cool

  • hell of a lauch! cool song too!

  • BIG BLOCK BABY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i need a bf. im so horny lol 0

  • I love those cars.I love it when I see one lift a wheel off the ground even better

  • The true king of musle cars in my book Cyclones/Torinos. Makes you wonder why anyone ever bought a Chevelle. Oh yeah...cheap sh*t.

  • my dad used to have a Mercury Cyclone. he said he got it for $2,000 when he was a teen but he ahd to give it away i dont know much about them but didnt they come with a 351 C?

  • Depends on the year. Maybe in the late 60's early 70s. My 66 is a GT w/390.

  • @bisquik3006: Some of them came with 429s too, I think, but mainly the 1969-70 models.

  • MY WORD! that thing is fast, hope my ranchero will run like that (year right only a 351).

  • Torinos rock. nice launch.

  • Awesome, I wish I still had my 71 GT 351CJ!

  • I had a Torino in high school. It was a 71 convert gt. Now all I want is another one. Twin diesel rig turbos on a 460 through a c-6.

  • Man does that thing launch.

  • AWESOME!!

  • torino's are way underrated, i mean you see chevelles and GTO's getting the big bucks but wheres the ford at? i know they rusted bad but shouldn't that increase the value of good ones? hopefully i'll get a video of mine up after i finish restoring it this summer.

  • GET SOME whoo hooo!!!!!!!

  • Torino KR !!! King of the Road....

  • Your Torino would kick my Torino's ass!!!

  • stomp the shity mopars, fuckin A torinos rule! dodges drool! getcha pull!!! kikin ass blue oval style!!

  • It's all about cubes...

  • Prove it, where's the link to your ruling dodge?

  • @point92mach Let me say this airhead, if you take the best dodge has ever made for drag racing and put it against FORD, guess what, the dodge loses.

  • Dodge = dogshit

  • @chizwacker89 ; Grow up ! Never ceases to amaze even after 40 years that some cannot practice the concept of respecting muscle cars (and the era that made them popular) . Is the golden rule so complex ?

  • Oh Ya!

    Les

  • thats a very nice torino ive been looking at buying one eventually

  • holy Sh!t, bad ass.
