  • Yes, Johnson was part of the plot he had the most ot lose from JFK being president. He was looking at jail time for his crimes while he was a senator & vice president.

  • Johnson is lying. He knew that the WC's purpose was not the truth, but rather to verify Hoover's FBI report. Suggesting an international connection was LBJ's way of trying to divert attention from the truth: a domestic coup against JFK.
