Cool! Fuck Madonna and fuck Lady Gaga. Taylor Dayne is the ONE that should've been THE QUEEN. But of course all the record companies have ignored genuine artists since dogs and pricks in the music business prefer slease bags like those two, who have negative effect on my generation and our future descendents.
Taylor is amazing her voice is so soulful I have seen her live about 5 times over the years and her voice has actually become stronger with each gig and with age she did her thing here and the wannabe's that are out today need to do their homework because this is what "REAL SINGING" sounds like end of story!
Wow, her voice still got the same thang going on! Thanks so much for posting this live version! This song came out way back when and sort of defined her as more than just a dance artist (although "I'll always love u" had kind of done that already). This was back when glistening, hear-wrenching love ballads were a welcome thing on mainstream radio. They would usually crack the top 10 and maybe even go to one. And they would almost certainly go to number one on the AC charts. Now they're gone.
She gave us an incredible vocal...LIVE. I'm pleased to see her voice has held up and withstood the test of time. However, I do wish she had given a second thought to the dress. Still, gotta love the Dayne.
@GospelAccording2ME Sorry I was not trying to be rude. She is the best and it is her talent that counts. Oh I quit listening, I am reduced to tears now.
Always liked TD and this song in particular. She was insanely popular, but it was a puzzle why she's not even MORE so. I don't think it's insulting to call her "white Tina Turner". Big voice and s-o-o soulful.
she's even better than ever!
