I find this fan video quite well done. Of course, it could be improved in a thousand ways, but overall I liked, If it's goal was to want me asking for more, goal accomplished.

And I liked Chun Li's and Ken's costumizations, by the way. What I don't like are Capcom's, but that's another story, Good job, blinky500 - I understand how much work is shooting a 3' fan film like this.

Between conversations with them and watching an obscene amount of japanese films i will probably stick to my way of pronouncing lol. I see you point though.I have never heard words or names start with an R that use a full L sound.At best its a sound between L and R but mostly either an R or rolled R that sounds like a D. Side note Ryo Ishikawa,I would pronounce that R'yo.

I always thought that if there was going to be a GOOD MOVIE then it would need to be like the video game and I still think that, but maybe kind of like how the new Batman Returns and The Dark Night were; dark and somehow a little more realistic.

@SeanShannohan i agree in some ways. the material needs to be taken seriously, but there still needs to be room for humor. the characters are so rich, theres no reason why they cant have some fun. the script i wrote is incredibly loyal to the core of the story and if ever made, im sure will impress the majority of fans out there.

@blinky500 hey i liked the fighting i did see. It looked good with what you had to work with. Plus I liked your actor of Ken. Even if he was last minute he nailed Ken's persona. I liked the set up and the scene fit. Plus out of all the people i would trust with making something fans would love and something others who are new could enjoy. It would have to be you. Just look at all the fan films you have made! Proof that brains and some fan knowledge goes a long way.

Just some constructive criticism: Firstly, good job on the acting and the cinematography. I think both actors would make good versions of their younger counterparts. Secondly, and this is just my opinion, but I think that the characters should be a little more mature. Ryu is not the type to get involved in petty "Degrassi High" like relationships, especially when he is a wandering warrior. Ken, I think you got his cockiness right. Chun-Li, due to her background, should be much more formal.

I really like it. Some Constructive Crit tho: 1) Story wise: I dont think Chun-Li and Ryu were ever in a relationship. Chun-Li works for Interpol. Ken gets indorsed and according to the animes and comics he's rich so I dont think he needs the money. if he does enter the tournament it would be to see Ryu again. 2) More fighting would've been nice (maybe a signature move from Chun-li as well?) 3)LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS ITS DONE!! @OfficalNThreeNam the script i wrote happens before chun li becomes an agent and infact ends with her getting a job interview. ken is rich and famous. hes not entering for money, but to reconnect with his roots and find ryu. ryu and chun li were indeed in a relationship in the 90s comic series. and true or not, i think it makes for a good subplot.

Great concept for a feature film! A Street Fighter film is very feasible, it's a shame that properties such as the Street Fighter franchise isn't being taken seriously by the 'big wigs' out there in the film industry.

I do have one tidbit of criticism for this video though. Any instance of campyness, such as Chun-Li's reaction to Ken's Shoryuken should be avoided, or atleast toned down. Furthermore, perhaps special movies such as the Shoryuken shouldn't be revealed early on.

I'm loving the effort even with such a low budget seriously this was awesome.. But i'm not feeling the idea of Chun-Li being an ex lover of Ryu. I like the storyline from the Street Fighter anime series where Chun-Li is a teenager and she meets Ryu and Ken throughout their journey. As for the action yea real Martial Artist should be used instead no name actors.
