Are the Alienware M11x's good? . Is i5 processor good enough to run games at high settings without lag? I'm thinking of getting a M11X R3 the i5 versions

@cacatzz In my experience if you want the m11x you are best saving for the best available processor. As most games are console ports they are quite dependant on the CPU.

To be honest the specs of the area 51 alx is v good but with the price of the basic alx u can get the maximum specs for the m18x which is Strong enough to beat any other portable system + it's can be moved nOt like the desktop . My opinion go for the m18x as general and the best choice is to get the new geforce 580 good luck

@xxCoady10xx if ur normal user for the laptop and gamer go for 8gb because u will get max 20% more performance from the extra 8gb it will be waist of mony but if u r a heavy duty user for 3d programes like 3ds max or maya and photoshop so u will need it for shur

@1anoopanand hay amigo sorry for my late replay , so i paied $2,569.00 for the laptop,& $29.00 for shipping inside US,$162.38 tax inside US also , and around 600 DHS castoms in dubai and 1300DHS for ship it to dubai from US send me ur email i will send u my specs and i will tell u some isues for the cridet card and how to solve it because technically u will get broplem for bay online by international cridet card

@lutschauto23 i like the bag its v. functunal i but every thing inside the coller fan, headphones and still v.confort in carry , honestly i had the m17x with the back bag and was not easy to carry it and also it was broplem for me to take it to my work because i alwes dress formal but this one is perfect for my i take it every day to my work

about the blue light i have it because as i think they give me the regular adapter because i have the single 460m

@SamiiLovesPikachu . i didnt try to travel with it but i think its not v.hard :) battery life is fantastic comparing to the size and the brightness of the screen but i'm talking about single viseo card !

@Seal552 thats because i asked my friend in US to open it and check if every thing is ok before he send it to me thats why he but a passwoard to not let them open it in the castoums and play with it :) beause last time i ordered the M17x R1 these lost the alienware logo in the castoums :) ...... long story

Hey i am wondering can you change the alienware head on the back i ordered one maxed out am i am wondering because i havent gotten it and i am curious.

@nickylbau unfortunately no , the alien head in the back is just white and even in the sleep mode its not working

@nickylbau they did that so the wled screen would be slim, the white comes from the screens light when its on, thats why it does not work in sleep mode, I i think its a good trade off in the end, pluse the white is a nice default color for the head since its dark.

@HRkapitan if you will use this machin in 3d programes like 3ds max or maya thats the pest choice, and video card is not bad but for the gaming the processor will not make big diffrance, but yeh i was totally crazy when it was in production:) cant wait untill i recived it , orderd 23/05/2011 and shiped 04/06/2011 very fast
